Lego-Style Apartment Changes Into Infinite Spaces

Submitted by: fancylad 5 years ago

When Christian Schallert isn"t cooking, dressing, sleeping or eating, his 258-sq-ft. apartment looks like an empty cube.

What does his sexuality have to do with anything in regards to this brilliantly awesome creation?

He didn`t open the one cabinet in the ceiling that lowers his gay-ass sex swing, huh.

I think this is amazing...if you`re going to live in such a tiny space why not make it unique and creative?

I wouldn`t be too happy about the proximity of the bathroom to the kitchen but other than that, the apartment is amazing. A fantastic job of using such a small space.

One thing I don`t get though is the use of the term"Lego". "Legos" are little bricks that snap together. This is nothing like that...

This is just stupid... I am living on 25m² and i have all of this... But i don`t have to press a lot of buttons to get to my kitchen or go to sleep...

Except for all those steps, I`d live there.

i`m gonna laugh when all those "push-unlocks" break and he can`t get those doors open anymore

And gotta say this, if he has the money to buy all this nifty "hide in the wall" stuff, why can`t he just get a larger apartment?

I like it, seems like it would be great for a single person that just doesn`t need too much space. I love seeing things like this. it`s interesting.

>>this guy is like the gayest gay guy in gayland.

Which may explain why his superpower is interior decoration.

I didnt think he was gay until about halfway through, then I realized it was more than just an accent

Aside from the terrible bathroom, i rather liked this. It is always interesting to see people that do cool stuff with small spaces, unlike that chick posted here a few weeks ago who just had cheap wire shelves to store crap.

sometimes i wish i had done something like this. it feels like it`s too late now, now that i`ve accumulated so much junk over the years. this makes me feel incredibly spoiled and i`m not sure i like that feeling.

i`ma go give some clothes/cords/stuffed animals/kitchen utensils to goodwill. brb.

I would freak out in a "house" like that.
House? More like a motel room. Not even half of my books could fit in there.

Clever, but not as impressive as the one on here a while back, the guy from japan i think it was.

The 360 view of the city from the roof is pretty amazing too.

The bed was a really cool use of space in how it tucked away under the balcony, but other than that and the table he didn`t actually save any space. Most things don`t fold out - he just put the kitchen fixtures, wardrobe, etc all against one wall and then built a false wall to hide it. It looks nicer and neater this way, but it doesn`t save any space over not having the wood panel wall.

This looks more... let`s say reasonable, than the 90sq ft appartment of that girl in NYC posted a while back.

The shower door should open outward.

If he likes it then all power to him...

Where is the computer? Everyone needs a computer!

Not for me though. I will agree with getting rid of/ not having any wasted, unused space since that means less rent and less heating/cooling cost, but I also believe in maximizing comfort, and this is just not enough space for all of my stuff.

Double that and we`ll talk.

Great use of space. Not sure I`d like to live in such confined quarters, even if they transformed to include every room a home requires
