By the way, we should have dismembered his body, wrapped each part in bacon, and had them delivered to the other jihadists as a warning. Instead we treated him like a hero of the Muslim faith.

    Also, USA! USA! USA!

@I am surprised at the level of maturity that some of the kids shown, and the answers they had for the questions.

When I was in middle school and I first started thinking about politics, I was usually just parroting what I heard my parents say.

What I was really surprised about is how many of them thought the celebrations were hypocritical. Is this what America really thinks or is just their naivete?

Judging by these kids, USA is infallible as an international power. That`s quite disturbing if a peoples perception of their country has turned a blind eye for it`s deeds across the globe.

Sure the people cannot be held accountable for what it`s country does, when it`s done covertly or under the guise of necessary action to enforce "stability and peace". But it is pathologic resentment if the people willingly accept the good versus evil stigma in order to maintain a self-perception of being part of the good guys.

It`s grey, it always is and always has been. And those in power thrive by the fact that most people want it black and white.

I love how adults explain things to children.
"A terrible man is dead, and yes it`s a good thing."
You know, we just do not give a child`s capacity to understand enough credit. The problem is that most adults are to lazy or ignorant to answer the questions that will arise. But the fact is, with enough patience, kids will understand.

@peloos12 Your missing my point. I`m not judging the innocence of kids, I`m judging the possibility of kids being raised with the idea that their country is "good", without any scrutiny whatsoever. There`s a big difference between patriotism and overzealousness as much as there is a difference between Barney the Dinosaur and your nation.

William is 10 years old and capable of speaking on a level above that of some of my 12th grade AP Government classmates. That kid is going places.

Some of these kids weren`t able to recognize that this isn`t all good or all bad - most issues fall somewhere in the middle. It was mostly the really young kids who had that problem, though.

That whole thing made my skin crawl. I guess you folks don`t know what propaganda is yet. By reading the comments here YOU people are a young crowd.

The fast pace editing, quick & brief statements, the back and forth producer selection? This is not real! It is all out of context, slammed into one slick flowing little package.

Weekly Reader Magazing for children figured out years ago that when it comes to political matters, children very rarely have their own opinions, but instead repeat what they have heard their parents say. This is exactly why Weekly Reader has been able to accurately predict 12 of the last 13 presidential elections.

Haven`t said that, these children are more than likely doing the same as any other child and repeating what their parents and older siblings have been saying. They have no "innocent" insight, or well-formed perspective regarding this event.

Hope I`m not feeding a troll...
@r66tramp - What`re you talking about? First, it`s patronizing to suggest we`ve never heard of propaganda because we`re young. It`s also obnoxious of you to say we (who? young people?) have the wool over our eyes, just based on comments.
Now that we`ve gotten the "don`t be a d1ck proviso out of the way...
The Fine Bros (who made this) make similar video clips like this, at about 6:-7:00. I assume, for the "Kid`s React" videos, they ask all the kids?e questions. Now, there are, what, 8 kids or so? So there`s 40 minutes (ot so) of footage, which they compress. They remove whatever they want. But saying this is a propaganda tool implies the filmmakers are trying to further an agenda and convey their opinion. Do you really see that? I see a variety of children. Yes, they have the average American opinion (yay he`s dead) but this was more likely encouraged by their parents than the Fine`s. And the smooth cuts? Duh. They`re pro

am i the only one who is sick and tired of the "from out of the mouths of babes" trick? children say honest things because they do not understand the reality or value of complex morality. that`s why they aren`t trusted to do certain things until they are adults. there is legitimate reasoning behind not allowing children decide their own fate until they are old enough to understand the consequence of their actions.
