Impressive? Hardly. There`s a new clip of someone doing this practically every day on SportsNation on ESPN. Obviously it`s not that difficult if literally thousands of people can do it. (not this specific shot, just trick shots in general)

I do a lot of special effects and I could copy all of these shots. Most of the shots have blurs or places where the ball leaves the frame. Too easy...

Why does that matter? Does one need to contribute to make a valid criticism?

We aren`t here to contribute, we`re here to be entertained. The more generous of us download advertising material from third parties which in turn generates revenue and keeps the site alive, also those that wish to spread something can request that it be posted for the rest to see.

Simple.

I started to suspect this was an ad after it became obvious that the quality of the video and overall production resources were too high for your typical stupid basketball trick shot video.

I was too slow though. I should have nailed it right when the guy said they were at southwest airlines headquarters. What sort of street bum cares what company owns the building where they happen to be?

Perhaps more training will sharpen my skills.

Other than this it was a lowsy ad, since basketball and airlines have nothing to do with each other.

And other than that it was an ad so that just sucks by itself.

My guess is that most people who post comments here have never posted a single link.

Is this supposed to make up for the roof flying off their plane?

Hey everybody, their planes are unsafe, but boy do they know their trick shots!

I agree with lukeforv123
I`m sick of seeing basketball "trick shot" compilations. You know what I want to see? I want to see a compilation of all the failed attempts these idiots took before they finally made it once. I have a feeling that video would be considerably longer.

they`re part of an advertisement group called dude perfect that started from that Texas A&M stadium viral video (hints the maroon colored clothing). One of the guys comes up to the UT gym and plays ball with us and says that his full time job is go around selling this basketball trick shot pitch to companies such as Southwestern Airlines or Under Armor.

I also assume that the points they were refering to are for reward fairs for free airline travel.
