PROTIP: Keep it to two words. "YOU SUCK!" "F-YOU!" "EAT ME!" "PISS OFF!" etc.

Yup, I`ve done that several times.

This is why you don`t make long posts in the first place. Learn to insult people in a couple sentences. More people will read it that way, too.

I often enter a comment and erase it immediately with the attempt of convincing myself that my voice is heard.

sometimes, mostly because I don`t want to be an @$$ or seem like a troll or something, and it`s just not worth it.

@CrakrJak
Sometimes it`s more prudent to just not post anything at all.

That sir, is a wise comment. Peace to you!

""conservatively, i`d say i do this 9 out of ten times i start to post anything. i`v done it on this site too many times to count."

.9 of 17 posts = 15
lucky for you i can count "

If 17 of posts make up 1/10 of all attempted replies, then the wasted posts amount to 170, not 15.
Lucky for you, I can count.

If you replace the "make a sandwich" part with the long painful process of creating an account on the website, getting rejected because it doesn`t accept Hotmail accounts, creating a new Google account because your old one expired, then waiting for the confirmation email, setting up your profile and then passing out from boredom and forgetting why you even wanted to leave a comment in the first place. Then yes, I`ve done that.

Yes, definitely. I do this all the time. I`ll write a comment, then think to myself "no-one cares" and just delete it. In fact I really want to do it to this too, but I`m going to force myself to click Post Reply. Here we go...
I never do that. Why would anyone? Here I have anonymity. I can be a complete jerk and no one will know. A lot of you seem to forget this. Times change I guess.
Some of us like to be polite just because it`s good manners, as opposed to being a jerk because you can.

I`ve never been one to work in multiple drafts, so I seldom even make it to the sandwich step.

Lazy, any chance you could change your country of origin to US? You`re shattering my false paradigm that Canadians are supposed to be `polite`.

I do it all the time but not just with stuff I don`t agree with. It works with any old bulslhit on the internet. I think everyone should be forced to reread their posts and consider if they are of any value before posting. The poor servers are getting clogged with idiocy.

* I seriously considered deleting this post after it was written for meta-ness. But either way my joke fails.
