Crack or Christ. Hard to say which is better. With the crack you get high and temporarily feel awesome, and then you crash and eventually succumb to addiction and withdrawl effects. Hard to say...

I dunno; the addiction, the warped belief that it`s doing you good, the need for regular fixes, the difficulty of kicking the habit; crack might just be a better choice.

@ZefSoFresh i dont have a problem with gay people or other religions at all and im not a psycho super christian either. But it seems like the trend these days is for atheist to act as though atheism is a religion in itself, which is retarded. If you dont believe in anything then why do you have to campaigne around for your cause. Shouldnt you be more like me and just not really give a f*ck.

Well I`m glad this individual overcame substance abuse and seeked salvation within their-self. Goodness knows we all need some positivity in our lives. Plus they have a sweet ride.

The problem is that most of us have tried that for years. But then we sat back and watched as you folks continued to attempt to make your 4000 year old, arbitrary morality into laws we had to live by. We watched you folks create an environment in which every President of the U.S. must at least claim to be of your number or he`ll never get into office. We sat back while you folks tried to forward your agenda in our public schools so as to indoctrinate a captive audience, our children. We watched as you continually tried to make this country, a secular republic, into a christian nation.

And all the while we are told that we must be respectful of your delusion. Well, some of us aren`t satisfied with that, anymore.

Not allowing you to do as you please and calling you on your bullsh*t is not persecution. This is not a "campaign." Don`t act the martyr. Some of us just aren`t willing to put up with it, anymore.

Good for them. As for Christ... meh, if you`re into that kind of thing, go for it. I mean, what would Jesus do? He`d put a bumper sticker all up on that sweet ride.

Lord Jereth got me thinking (uh-oh.) So, we`ve elected our first black president, and I`m also willing to bet we will get a woman in office waaaay before we would elect an atheist. We`d probably get a bi-sexual, tri-racial hermaphrodite elected before we got an atheist in office.

This may be a secular republic but it just happens to have an abundance of Christians as it`s citizens.
That is why time and again in every state where same sex marriage was up for VOTE it has been defeated. The majority of people in the USA do not want samne sex marriage.
The only states in the US where it is legal is because the courts made the decision, not the people.
If gays want to marry then they should all move to the same state where they can vote themselves all the rights they want, just do not expect the rest of the US to allow it should you decide to move from your state.
Or maybe you could all move to California, get it all voted on, then you could all move to another state and start the process there. Or you could breed more gays...oh wait...gays don`t breed...if every union were homosexual in one generation there would be no more gays...

Bit of a non sequitur, there. The subject was not about gays, but that`s ok. If you think that`s the worst subject the world has to deal with, then your head is buried so deeply in the sand that to further have this discussion would be pointless.

Yes, there are a lot of you delusional people running around. But your numbers are dwindling and folks are waking to the odor of your BS more and more each day. We as rationalists can look forward to the day when your kind will finally be a forgotten footnote in a future history book.

"If gays want to marry then they should all move to the same state where they can vote themselves all the rights they want, just do not expect the rest of the US to allow it should you decide to move from your state."

Replace "gays" with "blacks" (or, considering your attitude, "coloreds") in what you`ve said.

Then maybe you`ll realise why we all think you`re archaic, backwards and ignorant.

Why am I wading into the middle of this mess??? An atheist does not believe on God. IF a group of atheists hold the same belief it becomes, by definition a dogma. I personally DO believe in God I have big problems with organized religion - i.e. dogma. To me, belief (or not) is between you and God. It has nothing to do with the person on a pulpit telling you how to do it and Christ certainly NEVER asked for your money.

I was simply using the gay marriage scenario to show that there are far more of us `delusional Christians` in this country than there are delusional atheists or delusional gays.

    @Musuko42
You can be born black but you can not be born gay, that is a choice.

@BigdaddyJeff-BUZZZZZ-WRONG ANSWER. People don`t choose to be gay. You obviously haven`t thought too deeply about this. Would any straight guy deny his attraction toward women(no way, I could) and would choose to live with hatred and bigotry every day.Not likely and not in such numbers.

But does it really matter if someone is born gay or chooses to be gay? No! By choice or by birth, they are human beings and they deseerve the same privileges as straights.

@ZefSoFresh - BZZZZZZZZ Wrong Answe my friend.
being gay is as much a choice as being an alchoholic or being a drug addict or being an adulterer.
I should know as I have been or had tendencies towards all of those choices at some time during my life and I choose now to turn away from these bad life choices.
A relationship with Jesus Christ is what helps me get through the tough times. Perhaps it could help you too!
