Murder: Even the children want to celebrate Osama"s death. The peace symbols on the jacket are an ironic touch.

Hey PierreJeanFR, You would be from France, your country is to pussy to do anything and the US has to look like the bad guy all the time to protect the world! God Bless the United States of America!

Justice?
Cold blooded murder?
That`s what thugs do, not the democracy in chief,
I thought the US wanted to be a model for the world...
So if the pakistanies or any country wants justice for their innocents victims they just shoot a couple of bullets in someones head.

It`s pretty hard to have peace without justice.

you would think that someone wearing so much peace signs would not celebrate the death per say but celebrate the fact that his reign of terror is now over... ish.

@AaronianKen: We are not celebrating death, you dolt. We are celebrating justice and that future INNOCENT deaths may be avoided.

How do you even dress yourself in the morning???

@SarahofBorg true, but celebrating the death of someone is the complete opposite of peace.

You know what promotes peace the most? Killing those who destroy peace. There`s a certain point where there is no non-violent way to achieve peace.

Having a terrorist dead bring peace. How is that ironic?

Are you also upset that Hitler was killed? WTF!

Well you bloody well should be. It`s the only sport we can win.
Do we dance in the streets when we hear about civilian casualties on TV? Nope :) WE haven`t grouped them all together and WE realize the difference between an enemy combatant and a civilian casualty.
I won`t point any fingers but I`m sure some of us do.

Nevertheless you make a good point. There is definitely a cultural distinction there, but it`s not enough to justify calling ourselves "morally superior" or anything like that.

Morality is always relative and largely irrelevant. Don`t use it to judge people.

When 9/11 happened and the middle east was dancing in the streets, they were celebrating the deaths of Americans they didn`t know or hold a personal grudge against. Were all of them Al Qaeda? Nope :) They were just ordinary people rejoicing in the death of Americans and the pain we would suffer. Do we dance in the streets when we hear about civilian casualties on TV? Nope :) WE haven`t grouped them all together and WE realize the difference between an enemy combatant and a civilian casualty. I`m GLAD he`s dead.

I`m not sure if you`re commenting on my post, but you bring up some good points that help to clarify my posts. I don`t care if not everyone goes out and celebrates. If you don`t want to celebrate then don`t, I honestly couldn`t care less. What gets me ticked off though is when I see people bending over backwards trying to make it seem like celebrating it is some evil and horrible thing.

Also, there is a difference between:
Celebrating the end of war.
Celebrating killing people in war.

It`s honestly disconcerting when people haphazardly seem to be unable to make that distinction while doling out lessons in morality.

There`s also a distinction between "Not celebrating" and "mourning".

Did you celebrate when Canada won the Ford 2011 curling competition? If not, it does not mean you are automatically distraught over the loss of the Scottish.

There is: Celebration, not giving a poo, amusement, shock, careful consideration, relief, anger, bemusement, bewildered, contemplative, mourning, aroused, sick, stunned, grief, joy, and so on and so forth.

Personally: Relief might be closest.

Honestly, I don`t think there`s all that much wrong with celebrating, there`s just not all that much right with it either.

@tvremote

If you notice you`ll see most of those pussies have something in common because it`s cool to hate Americans even if they are your ally and you`ve done pretty much the same thing in the past. I doubt they realize al-qaeda would like them dead as much as us. Hey I`ve got an idea how about we set up a program for these people to vist al-qaeda and offer their condolences to them mabey then they`ll figure out how they work.

Gah I don`t even know how to respond to all the people who are trying to be holier-than-thou with this not celebrating thing. Jesus, you`re acting like osama was a f*ckin hero. If I want to celebrate the death of someone who orchestrated the death of thousands and the destruction of so much then f*uck you i will. If you want to build a f8ucking shrine to him then go do it but don`t get on my case when I don`t get misty eyed for his death. drat him, drat you.

@ Calummac & Kiaran123

You should tell all your elders they should be ashamed if they celebrated the end of world war 2 because they killed thousands upon thousands of German civilians in firebombings.

anyone morning his death should check themselves.
Are they morning Hitler`s death?
Musalini?
Ted Bundy?

when evil dies, it`s a good thing.
it`s a cancer on civilazation that has been removed.

No irony here. Peace symbols to symbolize the death of one synonymous with hatred and war.

I don`t like the fact they are celebrating when, their forefathers almost wiped out an entire race off of the earth. Osama did little compared to that.
