I have no opinion on her opinion about Rice. This is about Her BEHAVIOR. This girl was Rude beyond belief. She was strident, insulting, lacks any social grace, and apparently incapable of intelligent debate or she wouldn`t have stood up and screamed at people without giving any chance of rebuttal. When (God help us) she becomes a lawyer, if she behaves that way in a courtroom, I hope the judge slaps her with contempt and throws her in jail. In the Real World (not College) people who act this way aren`t respected and their opinions are dismissed as the ravings of fanatics

God I hate law students, and I was one. I became a Chef because I wanted to make people happy, law students these days all have some sort of agenda, and now I am getting back into it just to f with them. Well I also want to effect some change in this country. So many of the people that go into this field are so myopic that they will be contradicting themselves in the future to the determent of us all.

Rice, Bush, Powell, Cheney, Rummsfield, all of them started a war with NO REAL EVIDENCE.

you can spin that any damn way you want but the bottom line is there were no WMD`s and no just cause for war.

    that constitutes a war crime.

Not much to discuss here. Woman makes ass of herself at lecture, followed by an old man who also probably makes an ass of himself...

I guess we could talk about this code pink.

If I remember correctly from Penn and Teller, they were an anti-war organization made of dumb, old, American zealots with nothing better to do but obstruct politics through disorganized protest with the intent of ending wars. Also they had very limited success.

Overall goal is good, approach is wrong.

War between developed nations is obsolete. War between underdeveloped nations still happens on account of various disputes. War between developed and underdeveloped can be boiled down to either ousting a tyrant, removing a physical threat or securing a threatened financial resource. All 3 are valid and usually more than one applies.

Rude. There is a time and place to protest, that was not one of them. All that did was make her look like an ass. Course I dont agree with what the Bush administration did (though I wouldnt call them war criminals either), but I have enough common sense to protest elsewhere and not make myself look like an arse for doing so. Besides, they probably paid for the time to get up there and talk, and if you do not want to hear it why dont you just walk out.

This is probably one of the most rampant displays of jackassery I`ve ever seen. Although you may not agree with the actions a politician has taken, there`s still having some common courtesy to let someone give a lecture instead of interrupting and screaming bouts of insanity. I applaud the audience for trying to shut this bitch up.

Also why did you give the "GO TO HELL" screen instead of actual footage? I wouldn`t trust this kind of video to keep the facts straight.

I`m praying that she`s moonbatty enough that she believes in the overpopulation of the planet and is self-celibate, Or that perhaps no man on this earth would procreate with such a wench.

It`s not like I`m wishing a curse on her. I`m praying for mercy that whatever children she would`ve had find their way to another woman`s womb, other than hers, For their sake.

Anyways, I think we can agree here on this, despite our differing political views (which is good and healthy, and what democratic societies are based on).

Kidding aside, I think the shouter was a first-class dick. Condoleeza Rice (I assume) was invited to give a talk about her political experiences, and it was very gracious of her to take time out of her schedule to do so. For some random activist muppet to sabotage that event to make some political point (I don`t care which political point, it was still an ass move) was rude and ignorant.

If Al Gore, or Bill Clinton, or George W Bush, or whoever for that matter, gave some of their time to share some of their experiences from their time at the forefront of global geopolitics, I for one would have my mouth shut, and my ears open. Because I might just learn something. It`s about respect. This bint was just being rude and disrepectful, after Rice accepting a speaking invitation.

Anyway, that`s just my take on

She is probably a war criminal. George W Bush is allready busy dodging visits abroad, to avvoid arrest for his crimes agains humanity, and Donald Rumsfeldt and Dick Cheney may well have their warrants issued as well. Lawyers in several countries have the documents ready in case GWB plans to visit.

That the people who went against the UN, and attacked Iraq - which later has been proven to be a wrong and unjust war have commited crimes agains humanity, is not a matter of political wiew point. It`s a matter of law and fact.

And you may think it is inpolite to ruin Rices little speech here - but considering the crimes that have been committed and the amount of suffering these people have caused i can`t see how i am supposed to care. It could be Radco Mladic or Slobodan Milosevic up there, instead of Condi and i guess some people who think this was wrong, would say different.

What was done with Nazi war criminals back in the day, should still be done today. No MONEY powers should get away with it.CRIMES were committed on a massive scale. People should be punished to the limit. I`m willing to give up all my luxuries, for freedom and fairness. The United States Government is just puppets for big corporations. Every one keeps saying crimes. What crimes? Because the US went to war with out the permission of the UN? Last time I checked, we get our authority to go to war from the Constitution, not the UN. Yes in some countries there are papers to arrest GWB if he visits, but they are not official. Bush went to France (one of the countries where there is a warrant for him) and came back just fine.

Student_Law: The only crime being committed are the relentless character assassinations being repeated by idiot liberals against everyone in the former Bush administration.

But let`s take a look at Obama for a second, He`s still using Bush appointees, Like Gen. Petraeus, and still continuing Bush`s path on national security issues. If you are nutty enough to charge Bush with being a `war criminal` you can not exempt Bill Clinton or Barrack Obama either.

So, If you marched with signs saying "No blood for oil" during the Bush administration, Why aren`t you doing the same against Obama right now ?

Especially when Gaddafi poses no threat to his neighbors and very publicly gave up his WMD programs.

If you say, "Humanitarian reasons" then why hasn`t Obama intervened in Syria and other countries ?

    @CrakrJak

It wasn`t Obama`s decision to intervene in Libya: it was NATO`s.

The intervention is largely driven by French interest. Probably because they have a history in the area.

Understand this, because it seems you`re being willfully ignorant when it suits you; America`s involvement in Libya is because of its obligation to NATO, regardless of what your president might want.

@CrakrJak, the loveable right wing troll: please don`t mix up things to justify your beliefs, it`s quite sad. The issue here is regarding the actions of Condoleeza while in government, nothing to do with current administration.
The fact that the current administration isn`t doing much doesn`t mean that the previous is absolved of any actions it took.
Condoleeza is a war criminal, regardless

At the moment there`s about 370K U.S. troops outside of the country, just under half of which are in Iraq (50K) and Afghanistan (100K). Bombs are also being dropped in Libya, and your government is still sizing up & posturing against Iran and North Korea, and countless espionage activities (I guess)....and Guantanamo is still open for business. I`m not for or against anything mentioned above, but at what point will these protesters start focussing their attention on Obama who has been in power since Nov 2008?

However, the fact that you defend the application of torture, forced reclusion without pressing charges, invasion of foreign countries and execution without trial all in the name of freedom and democracy is a very good definition of hypocrisy, don`t you think?

AGit: The application of interrogation, not torture, got us the intelligence of Bin Laden`s couriers name, which in turn lead us to him in Pakistan.

Insurgents/Terrorists do not have the same rights as a nations soldiers during war time, That is made clear in the Geneva convention.

If Obama hadn`t been waffling the past two years on Gitmo and where and how about the prosecutions, The trials would be done and over with by now.

And I have yet to hear of a terrorist that we`ve captured executed without trial, Unless you are referring to Osama Bin Laden who threw his wife at the Seal Team, and was shot rather than face the humiliation of capture. (Most islamists like him would rather be martyred anyways)

Actually CrakrJak, intel gained via torture didn`t help us get bin Laden at all. In the 180 times Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was tortured, he gave pooty information every time. And even if they got something true, they certainly wouldn`t launch an extrajudicial operation in a foreign country based on it.

Trojan: There is no evidence that KSM ever gave any viable intel, But others have. That is why confessions like those that lead us to Bin Laden need to be verified by different sources. Calling `water boarding` torture is spurious at best, Compared to what John McCain endured in Vietnam it`s a cakewalk.

    @CrakrJak:
One million people died in Iraq, Crakr. Now, people have died in other places too. Somalia. And yes, Libya and so on. I agree that these are dodgy schemes that both Clinton and Obama (alongside with European governments) have pulled off. We have troops in Afghanistan as well. The civilian population is suffering more than ever, and we are no saints. But you can`t let that distort your perspective on the Iraq war, not to speak of Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib. They are/were concentration camps. People are still locked in there. No trial. No jury. No future.

Nobody really has any good answers as to why Iraq was attaced. But it was in violation of international law, and it was an extremely violent attack on a civil population and it`s sovereignty. Now you can try and run away from this argument all you want by trying to disturb the debate with your constant derailment. But the fact remain the same: Bush is a war criminal.

"Calling `water boarding` torture is spurious at best, Compared to what John McCain endured in Vietnam it`s a cakewalk. "

Ok. International law calls waterboarding torture. USA, after having their own soldiers waterboarded by the Japanese military sentenced the Japanese to death by hanging, for torture by waterboarding. One got 15 years of hard labour.
As i recall, some of what Obama said when he ran for office, was to "end torture on Guantanamo". In conclution, most Americans probably consider waterboarding torture.

Waterboarding is pouring water into a persons respiratory system. This will cause a person to drown. It is EXTREMELY painful. It causes damage to the lungs. Some people don`t survive torture. People have been tortured to death in Guantanamo. And not just adults.
    Kids too.

"Nobody really has any good answers as to why Iraq was attaced."

The beginning of the war was based on bad British Intelligence, which at the time had the locations, and types, of WMD. When this info was found to be erroneous (and we were already at full power at the time), the focus of the war shifted to finding Saddam at the behest of the Iraqi people (yes they asked us to stay and find him) so he could be put on trial for the murder of the Kurds.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO no. Iraq was legal, and approved by the UN.

davymid: I`m NOT condoning water boarding, I`m being comparative and subjective. No one has died from being water boarded in Gitmo, Nor have any of them been left with scars, or damaged physically at all. Once again, insurgents/terrorists do NOT have Geneva convention protections under international law.

Student_Law: Wikipedia states that only 22,313– 23,826 insurgents are dead due to US military action. You failed to mention that the million deaths, that you quoted, have came from suicide bombings and insurgents killing civilians, NOT coalition forces.
