definitely not luck. he won`t make that shot every time but he just happened to make it this time.

I`ve made that shot, but only when my dad and I played 8 hours almost every day for about six months when he was out of work. Hard to do and still a long shot when you try it.

3 playback, and no slow-mo?

I`d call it "skluck" [obviously an ungraceful portmanteau of skill and luck.] It`s like a baller hitting a shot from 3/4 court. Low percentage shot but with experience it gets more likely.

According to my source, sporst expert Norm Macdonald, Ping-Pong is the only sport named after its inventor.

The one time I wouldn`t mind a slo-mo and they don`t have one. That`s about right.

A lucky shot from an obviously skilled player, is the answer.. Sure it was a bit of luck, but he had more chance to pull it off than any of you douchebags!!

I play ping-pong and at first I thought he did it with his backhand but on closer inspection he just blocked it from way behind the table. It looks awesome, sure, but he could`ve done it closer. If I could do this move I would because my opponents would always think they`ve got the point with their Top Spin.

skill. He obviously stretched otherwise he wouldn`t be playing that shot but it`s a shot he`ll have no doubt played before at some point

Ardystic is right. All of you who are picking one or the other probably just haven`t been involved in much of any competitive sport/game.

Luck. He just played it off to make it look as if he did it on purpose.

both. athletes don`t usually do unorthodox things unless they have to. and when you do unorthodox things successfully, both skill and luck are involved.

How can you say "bad-ass" and "ping-pong" in the same sentence?

Depends, if he has practiced that move, and can repeat it, then its skill. If can`t do it again, then its luck.
