as an engineering student, i spent a whole module on whether or not its worth getting an energy efficient car. and did you know it would take 25 years for you to work off what damage building that car in a factory cost the environment over just keeping your old car or if you just bought an old used car instead?
yeah, keep feeling good about yourself now, you pretentious green hipsters.

Eshhhh that`s ugly..

@Student_Law

What would that be? Things I`ve seen from France are way too over engineered and complicated for no reason making things more problematic and costly. Made a nice statue though!

Does it fly? No? Then it`s probably not futuristic enough.

I seem to recall riding in a taxi very much like this while in Dublin 4 years ago. Bigger and more comfortable than the London taxis, Makes me wonder how old this video really is.

@MisterG: Haha, i agree. There are a lot of good things you can get from the French, but cars are absolutely not one of them :-D And this does look like a Citröen. Especially how all the doors come apart, and the engine falling out hahaha :-D

The person who made this has never been in a taxi. Cabi`s do not use air conditioning. They role down the windows and let you sweat. This taxi has a plethora of windows so the sun can BEAT DOWN ON YOU.. great idea.

Looks like something Citroën would design.
Hope it`s not.
It would fall apart just looking at it.

Thanks Bloomberg, for giving the billion dollar contract to another country! That just what our economy needs right now.

That taxi lost the competition, despite being the peoples favorite and the company pledge to build a plant in NY to manufacture them. Instead they gave the contract to Nissan who will build their cabs in Mexico.

If memory serves me right, black taxis in London were cramped as %$#@! if you try to get five people with luggage in the back. This thing appears to have a good bit more interior space.
