0-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds, a top speed of 217 mph and sharp as hell...doesn"t that make you feel all tingly inside?

"Still not as fast as the Ariel Atom.", yeah, right... but the atom is more a fast toy than a car.

Still not as fast as the Ariel Atom.
Also, it looks like a DeLorean.

You could seriously get on the autobahn in Germany and drive across the entire country in under 3 minutes.

The world is falling apart? at least you have a Lamborghini. but seriously, we`ve mastered our natural world and created mechanized beasts that dont falter and second guess our commands. And handle like a dream. drating poo is awesome
That figure is better than my dads truck gets right now. Although I am sure that they don`t factor in the lead foot
No, they don`t. It`s a standardised test of driving normally in mixed conditions designed to simulate *average* driving. Which you probably wouldn`t be using a Lamborghini for. If you can afford one, you can also afford a more practical car for everyday use.

It might work out, though. On the one hand, you`d be sorely tempted to up the revs a bit for the wonderful noise and that won`t do much for the mpg. On the other hand, Lamborghinis are for showing off so you might be doing a fair bit of slow cruising and that will get better than the combined cycle mpg. As the songs says, two miles an hour so everybody sees you.

The design looks pretty dated. And holy poo, that is an ugly color for a car.

the beginning of the video is just like driving on the roads here in Louisiana.

It looks kind of like a Reventon. Which looks kind of like a Murcielago, which looks like a Gallardo, which looks like every other Lamborghini.
Either way, I can`t wait to see the Top Gear episode that covers this one.

This is a better clip for a Transformers spinoff than it is for a car.

If I wanted to go that fast and avoid cracks as well as other cg effects, I`d buy a plane as it would be much cheaper.

IAB out of courtesy you should say beforehand if the entire post is just an ad. I found this one unremarkable. If I wanted to see cars being driven around and hear cool music I`d just watch top gear. Then I`d even get some humor in on the side.

I`ll just pop out and buy one now. i don`t like the idea of the road cracking around while i drive it could get dangerous.

Lambo is owned by Audi, which (I believe, I need to check my facts later) is owned by FORD.
So this came from Ford. I love America, and excess power.

It does 16.4mpg in the standard combined cycle, so you can work out the prices for your area.

That figure sucks compared with a normal car, but it holds up very well compared with similarly powerful cars.
it does look like a mucialago. I don`t think Lamborghini wants to change too much. it scares them. Just add some numbers or some extra letters to the end. new car!
Lamborghini is owned by Audi. Audi has a more restrained approach than Lamborghini and places much more emphasis on usability. They haven`t interfered too much, though. Lamborghinis are still a bit mental, just easier to drive normally and with fewer bits sticking out than pre-Audi ones. Or so I`m told, since I don`t have a spare fortune lying around to buy one for myself.

My main gripe with this ad is that it`s an art piece that has a car in it. You can`t even really hear the car and surely that`s a large part of the point of having it.

@Nobbinz: The Murcielago mental? I`m sorry man, but the Murcielago only started to look mental when the LP-640 came. It looked positively tame compared to the last version of the Diablo. And the same could be said of the Diablo and the Countach. Even the first Countach (LP400) wasn`t mental. It was hella pretty, though.

So the unevitable newer versions of the Aventador will have those crazy sticking out bits. Lambos always do.

It just doesn`t look bonkers enough for a Lambo. The Murcielago looked mental when that first came out. This just looks like they`ve curved the panels a bit and stuck a tamed down version of the Rebenton nose on the front.

Preferred this one :-

Very sexy car. The new GT-R will do 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds but costs only $90,000 USD. Much better value, in my opinion.

I don`t own a Lamborghini Murcielago, but I have driven one and all I can say is, even a 2 inch dip in the road or curb will destroy the front bumper and or the alloy wheels of that car, but on a perfect road the cars a beast, it`s just this promo is a little misdirected maybe even complete and utter bullpoo when you consider the road conditions showcased.
