Two Toddlers On A Train [Fixed]

Submitted by: kitteh9lives 6 years ago in Weird

Just two kids passing the time on a long trip...apparently playing "I spy" isn"t as cool as it used to be.

BexyWexy - Smoking Everywhere (along with TotallyWicked) is actually a UK company, and they were on the forefront of the Ecig revolution! I wouldn`t recommend ordering from them at this point (as the technology of the e-cig has greatly surpassed that of their original niche in the market), but from what I understand, yes they are absolutely still legal in the UK. Joye is the manufacturer of the Ego Tank, and I`d highly recommend looking into it (make sure to select the LR [low-resistance] atomizer) - for a fraction of what you`d pay for original Smoking Everywhere ciggie look-alikes (probably of the variety that was being solicited to you about the tarmac).

Are e-ciggies available in the UK? When the smoking ban came into force here they were vaguely mentioned with the NOT TESTED etc badge, and I never really heard much more about them.
(except on *cries* ryan air flights, who want to sell them to you for what seems like a lot, in an air space that makes you wonder if they`re legal/legit)

Nice to have another vaper on the forum, DaShiVa! I got chewed-out by some jerkoff last time I tried to represent the sh*t. I SHOULD have stock by the way, Garu.

Anyway, what model you vapin`? Have you checked into the low-resistance Ego-T? I`m using it right now and have to say - it`s what the e-cigarette world has been waiting for. It`s really the way this thing should have been designed from the start. Let`s hope they don`t ban it next!

BTW, got an update on the FDA situation from my man down at ValleyVapor (Dave), the very day I posted this bulletin! Drop me your line or something (if you signed up early enough, you should have a youthink.com account which corresponds to your I-A-B profile), I`d like to share it with you.

Happy Vaping

@Suicism pretty much right on the ball on the e-cig info. I`ve been using them a couple of years now. Got my sense of smell back, my taste back, I no longer smell bad, the place I work loves it for the smell reason and cause I no longer need to take a break to smoke, I can vape at my desk, my dentist has noticed a significant improvement. Doctor approves, and I`ve been saving money hand over fist.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for the electronic cigarette, but there are a few clarifications which need to be made:

1) most e-cigarettes do not rely upon water as the base, but rather a mixture of propylene glycol, nicotine and the flavoring ingredient of your choice (which does contain some parts water and alcohol, however miniscule). Alternatively, as roughly 2% of Americans are allergic to Propylene glycol, Vegetable Glycerine can be substituted for that portion of the base though it produces less in the way of throat-hit (that feeling you get when you inhale cigarette smoke) and tends to gunk-up the atomizer (that part of the device which the battery is there to power, basically acting as the heating element upon which the mixture relies to be vaporized). The nicotine content is, however, highly customizable - in the year since I`ve been utilizing this innovative device, my consumption has dropped by half (literally 36 mg/ml to 18).

2) the most painfully obvious misconception I`m seeing here has to do with some idea that e-cigarettes stand to gain anything functionally by emitting constant vapor from the tip. NO electronic cigarettes waste such resources on mere presentation! At the most, they are tipped with a variable LED which either reacts to the intensity of one`s draw (the automatic ones, and usually orange) or activate in synchronicity with the atomizer when the button is depressed (the manual ones, and color-dependent based upon your preference).

3) though e-cigarettes have been marketed as smoking-cessation devices (and rightfully so, in my experience) the entire battle over their continued importation into the United States has hinged upon this simple descriptive phraseology. After an ongoing supreme court battle with Smoking Everywhere (one of the earliest purveyors of this device), from what I understand the FDA has basically conceded to stop giving them a hard time through customs if they agree to give-up said `non-approved` product description.

That being said, the relationship between government and this ostensible miracle device is testy at best (nowhere near the warm regard they must hold for the Tobacco industry), and you should all look into the prohibition efforts being waged across this country (and others) including New York state (where it has succeeded) and California (where it passed both houses before we were rescued by The Terminator).

Also, for a peek into the evolution of e-cigarettes from their skeuomorphic origins (learned it from I-A-B) to the fully functional and full-throttle device of today, lookup "Joye Ego Tank" on any search engine and explore the results.

@ Gothmo

I agree with your statement, which is why I said they "can" be nothing but water vapor. Electronic cigarettes have been marketed as a smoking cessation device so they have step down nicotine levels, including a no nicotine level.

@Dance

.................usually they have nicotine. that`s the point of electronic ones. all of the nicotine, none of the smoke.

If you go full screen you can see the kids and a couple bystanders touching the ash at the end of the cigarette, that and the fact that the ash never gets bigger leads me to believe that these are electronic cigarettes which can be nothing but water vapor with no nicotine or other harmful matter. Still, is it a good idea for a 3 yo to "smoke" this cigarette? Oh HELL NO!

They seem to be standing inches away from the open train doorway. That`s pretty bad-ass right there for a toddler.

Actually, they`re in their 20`s...they just started smoking early....REALLY early.

FTR, it`s not against the law for kids to smoke in other countries, nor is it against the law for cigarette companies to advertise to them...and boy howdy, do they advertise to them.
