    We could use these on U.S. - Mexico border... Then it would be a lot more difficult to cross illegally :P

    Wouldn`t it be super-cool if we humans could put our engineering and technological knowledge toward things like space exploration and curing diseases, rather than toward new and spiffier ways to kill each other? :-( Damn.

    I`m assuming it has some detection method so it knows who`s who?

    Otherwise, it`s a big case of "Friendly Fire... Isn`t."

    Its not a super gun. It is a turret and targeting system. It can be fitted with guns or Missile`s. Very close to the same Aegis system the navy use`s.

    Is it such a good idea to be coming out with unmanned weaponry already? I mean come on, we haven`t even made self-driving cars yet. We should start building new technologies for good, rather then inventing newer ways to kill ourselves.

    Is patrolling the DMZ a job you would want?

    I`m all for these military robots. If we could get rid of human loss in military conflicts, it would change history. There would be very little point to war.

    Poor North Koreans. That`s what you get for being a part of a backward dictatorship.

    "Bah, the more robots we build, the less jobs there are for humans."

    In an ideal world, a human would be encouraged to create a robot to do their job. They would then get payed for the same job, as long as the robot performed as well as the human.

    However, in this plutocracy, everything is milked for the maximum profit possible, so the human is then replaced by the robot, fired, and then the robot is used for all possible positions, further firing more humans.

    In response to the video, though, this is a good thing. Let robots fight robots. It`s better than humans fighting robots or humans fighting humans.

    @Tommy2X4 and Handys003

    It helps to know that North and South Korea are right next to each other and that the DMZ is only 2 and a half miles wide. Setting off an EMP in the DMZ would be tactically retarded.

    The US Military already has EMP weapons that are directioal. They practice up here at Pohakuloa Trainig base up Mauna Kea with the Stryker Rapid Deployment Forces.
    Heck you can get the treatment from your Kidney Specialists for Kidney Stones and have been in use since 1995. I know. I had the procedure done on me at Queens Hospital in Honolulu.

    EMP blast is easy when you have WMD`s or more specifically TNW`s. If the SC of the KPA goes totally NCM then a PEFS on the DMZ could be used to TA, even if it ultimately leads to MAD.
