It would/could have practical applications, This whole process could be be used by someone who is completely paralyzed not so much the recliner aspect but the mobility part.

The worst (or best?) part of this is how serious he is about it. Props to him anyway.

That`s an awful lot of screwing around just to use your recliner. It`s not exactly hard to pull a handle and lean back is it....

Nah, fxck that, if you`re gonna do it, do it right. Get a colostomy surgery and a catheter. Never move. Otherwise, don`t bother. Stupid.

Y`know, a simple joystick would do the same, better, and with less effort. I wouldn`t call this an improvement.

A holographic display for this would be awesome. I`m looking forward to holograms.

"right now it`s actually picking up your hands as the nearest closest object.." a nice way of saying "get your hands out of the way you idiot"

I would add bigger doors, just so i can fit this in the house and take it everywhere.

i dont think it would fit through my doors...therefore it would be confined to my living room so i might as well use a normal sofa.
