Looking back at it, this is so sadly true.

"""I hate how uneven and lumpy that pie chart is"

Yea, me too. We should hang out."

I looked at the ages..."

Well, hate is a strong emotion. It is something we can both get passionate about. "Arrrghhhh! That jerk of a new manager at work is belittling us all again!" "I hate belittling too! This guy sounds like a jerk!" "He is!" "Concurrence!" "...<3" "<3"

>_> <_< Hate is just a stronger emotion than like... brings more passion? Liking the same things is good though, but knowing what they dislike which you like is important. I love yams, he hates yams, I don`t make him eat yams. :D </story>

I hate people who hate!
Oh wait...

As for relationships: this is better than you liking something she hates, or vice-versa, eh? Zoodles for dinner again! Grrrr!

All I got out of this is that the foundation for any good relationship is pie. Sweet, delicious pie.

It`s true, I`m much more tolerant of some one who likes things I don`t than some one who likes things I hate.

Wouldn`t this be a good thing if you both hate the same things?.. Then you would never have to deal with said things..

Hate may be putting it strongly, but getting annoyed by the same things - either trivial or profound - might be a truer measure of compatibility.

Sure I like sunny days and birdsong and good food & wine with friends and music and stuff. Who doesn`t?

But if I`m in a restaurant and enjoying the food, wine, friendship and ambiance, and some bastard is rude to a waiter, then the eye-contact with my companion which says `That is an non-nice individual in action` probably means I feel closer to that person than `Hey, good food.`

You people suck. Why do you hate everything? Do you just love to hate or are you messed up in the head?

It`s easier to hate things, and it`s nice to ave a friend versus a common enemy.

i think this is okay. my girlfriend likes most of the stuff i like, but it`s much easier to get along when i hate something she hates too
