i have: atari 2600, intellivision, colecovision, atari 5200 (broken), NES, sega master system, had an atari 7800 but i think i lost it in a move somewhere, genesis, SNES, 3DO, jaguar, saturn, playstation, virtual boy, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, xbox, xbox360, and wii.

Dont know why they included peripherals like wii motion plus and kinect but not things like segacd.

I dropped into gaming when the N64 came out. I went backwards from there for a while, and my first "recent" generation console was a PS2.

Interesting note: Nintendo is planning to unveil a new home console at E3 this year. Rumors I`ve heard say they`re wanting to make it much more powerful than the PS3 or 360, there might be an HD screen in the controller, and it`ll likely still be able to play Wii games.

Just rumors, but I thought I`d mention it.

I do miss the Atari 2600. Many of my fake sick days from school were spent playing it. Good times.

Turbo Grafx and Philips CD-i started it all for me. My parents wouldn`t let me play Mario Bros 3, but they`d let me play Keith Courage. That game still scares the poo out of me.

milo_pretzel, if those were how you got started, i would not be surprised if you were no longer a gamer. those were not top of the line consoles, especially the philips.

heh the first console i can remember playing was the NES, and the game had something to do with mice. Lucky for me though, the consoles before that don`t even look functional.
