Another Great Passive-Aggressive Note [Pic]

Submitted by: Kim... 6 years ago in Funny

Oh man, I am so copying this note, word-for-word and giving it to my neighbor next time his dog craps on my lawn.

It is not as big a deal to step in dog poo when you are wearing shoes as it is when you are barefoot, but it is still a pain in the ass. It is slippery too, and I have seen a lot of people fall when they step in it as a result. It is also awful if you live at the beach because then you ARE barefoot when you step. They have baggy dispensers along the beach for just that occasion, and it is polite to pick up your dog`s crap.

How am I a troll? I asked an honest question? I`ve only seen this in the movies. I`ve never seen anybody in real life carry around baggies and scoops to pick up their dog`s poo.

I`ve done exactly what was done in said pic (picking it up and delivering it on the porch), unsurprisingly, I didn`t have neighbors a week later...

hmm, i don`t think this is passive-agressive (no action / angry letter). More aggressive-passive (action / friendly letter). It`s like punching someone then telling them they have good fashion sense.

Most humans should not be pet owners. Animals are really just poop machines anyway. I grew up on a dairy farm and know what I`m saying.

these notes are not passive aggressive...they are AGGRESSIVE if anything (according to how we classify conflict resolution in mental health). Passive agressive would be if the person told another unrelated person how upset they were within say ear shot of the person they were upset with.

by giving the person a note they are DIRECTLY confronting the person...this note is aggressive because it challenges the intelligence of the person it is meant for.

There is a guy that walks around my apartment complex that picks up the poopies and puts them in the bags but leaves them in the same spot. So everywhere you look there`s these little green bags pointing to the sky. lol

Dear Crazy Lady,

Why are you touching my poop? That`s gross.

I know I come off as a butthurt mysophobic pussy, but I`m not. For those who don`t give a drat about their neighbors` desires to have a poo-free yard, I presented documented alternative reasons to hopefully enlighten them. Personally I don`t care if other people`s actions have any of the impacts I cited. Just be happy your dog`s not pooting in my yard.

On one hand she put poo on your door. On the other hand, she actually used "your" and "you`re" correctly in her letter...

I`d forgive her.

@Fuego
I don`t approve of letting your dog poo everywhere and not picking it up (I`ve ruined more than one pare of pretty shoes), but the damage it does to our planet is next to nothing.
I am much more concerned by the nitrates present in the tons of fertilizers used on our farmlands.

Really, regardless of the environmental impacts of dog sh/t, this is really more about being a good neighbor. It`s just not OK to put your rubbish in your neighbor`s yard.

@madest it might not be a law where you live. If it is, good for you; fight the power. Be sure not to pay any fines as a result. In fact throw the citation in the cop`s face. drat him!

It pollutes less because it`s engineered to. It`s also heavily regulated. I`m passing along the info available to everyone. And yes it is a problem in concentrated populations. Tear your lips away from your precious dog`s dick long enough to read up on it. You might just learn something.

@tincel, it pollutes less because it`s contained in a single area.

@Fuego
And what do you think happens to your trash? Does it pollute our planet any less because you don`t see it?
You need to look at things with a broader perspective.

@Tweetness- there aren`t NEARLY the density of animals in any forest as there are dogs in urban and suburban areas.

Male 292
if it was a big deal then people would go out into the woods and pick up feces in the forest for wild animals because of the dangerous runoff

I don`t pick up my dogs poop either. I vow to forever break this law. Turns to dirt in 3 days anyway. I often bring along a plastic bag and if needed I fake it. Screw you poop haters it`s your grass`s fertilizer!

Fuego- You`re one of those -ssholes that`s trying to bubblewrap this country, aren`t you? Warning labels on EVERYTHING, directions for microwaving f-cking poptarts, etc. All hail the demise of common sense!
If a little poo run-off was that big an issue, it`d be exactly that- a big issue, with PSA`s and all. It`s sh-t. Get over it.

Many US cities have ordinances requiring the individual who is walking the dog to curb their pet. Failure to do so can lead to fines.

When it rains, bacteria from the poop travel along with the run-off. This contributes to high bacteria levels in beaches, streams, rivers, ponds, and lakes. Also, the nitrogen from the feces reduces the oxygen levels in the water. This is bad for marine life.

Abandoned fecal waste contributes to parasite, virus, and bacteria transmission to animals and people.

Yea, see, it`s more of a problem when someone`s dog is pooting in not their lawn or when you live in a duplex or something. @lockededup, that`s fine if you would like to live in filth and have an unsightly yard. I`m sure your house follows suit.

I used to have a dog. Always picked up the sh*t. Most dog owners don`t, though. Theres sh*t all over the place, you smell the pi*s... 90 % of dog owners are, sad to say: pigs.

@lockedup- I`d hate to have you as a neighbor. You clearly have no concept of what it means to be a good one.

@lockedup Well of course glass and nails are to be more concerned with. If I had that laying on my lawn I probably wouldn`t care to much about the poop.

If you don`t own a dog (like myself) it can become very aggravating. Everyone on my block was using my front lawn as a dog bathroom. I would come out to get the mail and see my neighbor standing there with arms crossed, watching his small horse of a dog going. Only to pretend to scold his dog when he got caught.

I ended buying a video camera just so I could catch people. First day I had it I caught an old lady walking off after letting her poodle go. She looked right at me and said "That wasn`t me." I pointed at the camera. She cleaned it up.

You shouldn`t have to clean up other people`s (or pet`s) crap.

"I never understood why this was an issue? Don`t people wear shoes in case they step in undesirable substances? Is that the issue? I`m much more worried about stepping on nails, glass, or thorns, something that can actually hurt me, than stepping in poo. I guess it`s a little unsightly but it does help the lawn. At one point, I had four dogs running around here that I let loose on the lawn. I only stepped in poo once."

I hope you`re kidding. You think people shouldn`t get to enjoy having bare feet in their own grass because some other person`s dog is pooping in their yard? It`s more than a little unsightly. It`s rude, disgusting, and a possible disease carrier.

it really has to do with vermine and bacteria that can become airborn from poop. and then, you step in it, and track it into your house...

Wraagh! If I saw this, I would obey, for fear of setting off the twisted person who wrote it.

Then again, I don`t have a dog so I wouldn`t see it.

... and even if I did have a dog, I`m not an as*hole who would let it sh*t on other people`s property.
