Yes lemming, this happens all the time in nature. However, it does not happen hundreds of time on film and most people have not seen a cat actually leap and catch a bird.

Get off your high horse.

If you`re crying about this video ..the next time you think about swatting down a mosquito ..just know that it`s only trying to protect and feed it`s young.

Perhaps Izaq is unaware that nature can be cruel...well that`s life you suckass...animals kill and eat each other every day...now move out of your parents basement and get used to the fact that poor little stupid birds get eaten by cats every f###ing day.....dumbass.

Mockingbirds are like that. They are very aggressive and will go after humans and animals with in a large radius. We had some make nests in the eves of our neighbor`s house and they would attack our cats any time they were in our yard no where near the neighbor`s house!

"I like cats, but it needs to be said that they`re responsible for a frighteningly large number of deaths of wild birds annually... they should really be kept inside."

I`m afraid it`s far too late. Too many Feral cats. Half the bird population is decimated by such in Hawaii. Yet Outdoor groups continue to feed them and have a hissy fit when eradication is discussed by the state.

Sarah: That looked like a bluejay to me, I could be wrong though. Bluejays will dive bomb anything that is within eyesight of it`s nest, they are very aggressive birds and I`ve had a cat of mine kill one just like this although didn`t get to see the kill.

Some cat owners actually keep their cats inside where the cat doesn`t kill birds or crap in the neighbors flower bed or get run over.

Male 196
@zuki....too true, that was nothing compared to how cruel nature can really be. It`s a f###ing bird people...there are billions of them...are ya gonna go and kick every cat that kills a bird now? While you`re at it, why don`t you go kick a wolf for killing a cute little deer, or how about going and kicking a lion for tearing a baby giraffe to shreds. F### people are stupid.

"and the birds that can fly faster survive to pass on the genes to their young!"

So do the birds that are smart enough not to mess with a cat in the first place!

@TopperHey, TKD Master
You know what my instinct would be if I saw you kick a cat for no more reason than witnessing natures natural way... Blow your f*cking brains out. You two sound like the biggest douches ever. Cats have owners and if they saw you do that he`d probably kick the sh*t out of you aholes. Go die you f*ckers.

To all of you that say `stupid cat and poor bird` get over yourselves. This is natural selection at its finest. The cat gets a great meal and the birds that can fly faster survive to pass on the genes to their young!

tedgp is right. Put the following caption on these things...

"WARNING: The following may be traumatic for young children and pussies."

Really tedgp? A warning? What did you think would happen when a bird "messes with the wrong cat" ?

exactly. Although it sucks that the bird is probably a mother bird just luring away the cat from the nest.
