This post is incredibly boring, irrelevant and deceptive, ie; wrong.

... And the best part is, I don`t really need to explain myself as it is either self evident, or can be determined by the posts on here and on the article, or both!

You still at 100% craziness accuracy Davy?

For anyone who cares, the actual question was this:

"How likely is it that people in the federal government either assisted in the 9/11 attacks or took no action to stop the attacks because they wanted the United States to go to war in the Middle East?" the poll asked.

A full 22.6% of Democrats said it was "very likely." Another 28.2% called it "somewhat likely."

Which has nothing to do with Bush specifically, and everything to do with the intelligence agents. One of which did admit earlier this year to lying about intelligence for the specific purpose of getting freedom for his former country.

Move along now, nothing to see here.

that question said nothing of bush. It said "the government" which could mean any number of people who werent george w. bush. theres a little something called "plausible deniability". even if people in the government had prior knowledge and some people believe it, doesnt mean those people believe bush himself was responsible.

This is not an attack on a single person as 5cats and the writer seem to believe, but just your average run of the mill distrust of the federal government.

@startech: Is it likely that the government has the power or ability to coordinate all that effort without somebody leaking that information. Remember Iran-Contra or the Pentagon Papers? Somehow I doubt the government has gotten any better at conspiracy 101 since then. Besides the media in this country loves nothing more than making the government look stupid. Moving on, say they did it and know we`re in Iraq and the Master Plan is proceeding smoothly suddenly we run into a problem. No WMDs. That`s a big oopsie right there. If they don`t exist the whole raison d’être for invading is gone and our allies will think we dragged them into it, our people will think we lied to them, and our enemies will use it for propaganda all seriously hampering our war effort. Now, do you seriously think that a government that would kill 3,000 of its own citizens to get us into a war would balk at planting WMDs in Iraq to keep us in it? Our international prestige took a huge

hit when nothing was found in Iraq and the kind of devious government you people seem to think exists would have taken extreme pains to avoid that by making damn sure something was found. Are you so all so afraid that the people that you are fighting are smarter than you gave them credit for and that your government was simply grossly incompetent that you have to invent this convoluted Machiavellian scheme to reassure yourselves that a bunch of crazy Muslims couldn`t actually pull this off?

Yeah, `truthers`, (i.e. people who actually have the intellectual courage to depart from orthodoxy and the momentum of the herd long enough to engage in potentially enlightening inquiry; people who, for instance, instead of dividing their conscious energy equally between video games and beer drinking actually believe that it is possible that the governing principles of society go a good deal beyond accident and coincidence; people who regard pattern recognition as roughly equal in value to fact-collection) are crazy- just like those wack jobs who think that microscopic critters invade the body, causing illness- oh, wait...

The head of the Federal Government IS the PotUS. The Buck stops here, remember? Look at 8 years of "anti-war" protests: they ALL blame Bush. Or the Jews.

So all this latest stuff about "crazy Republicans questioning Obama`s birth" is supported by: ZERO evidence! Where`s the opinion polls to back this accusation up? Find one!

Yet here`s evidence that half of Dems are (or were in 2006) bat-poo crazy TRUTHERS! Even after all the evidence to the contrary.

Isn`t it amazing how Bush was "so stupid" he couldn`t tie his own shoes, yet he masterminded a world-wide terror plot before he was even elected PotUS!!! so is he smart or genius? Make up your mind lefties!

And Dems are `birthers` too! At least when it comes to Trig Palin! lolz! (a seperately submitted posting for that)

In a reasonable comparative, 100% of Republicans surveyed believe Pots are crazy.

Seriously, some people need to learn to read a poll.

Actual numbers for those interested from Rasmussen:
35% of Dems think Bush Knew.
40% of Dems think he did not.
18% of independents think he knew.
57% of independents think he did not.
10% of Reps think he knew.
70% of Reps think he did not.

Overall 22% of America think he knew.

Irrespective of these numbers: He was warned about them.

The question "Did GWB know Al Qaeda were planning to hijack aircraft and target the WTC?" is correctly answered with a yes.

That it was *intentionally* ignored is a conspiracy.

"Do you believe people in the government are having an affair?"

lol i like how the question is concerning the federal government not just bush and is rated on a scale from somewhat likely and very likely which is pretty vague anyway and does not say they believe in anything for that matter. so from this data we can say that 50% of all democrats are truthers. Hello class and welcome to elementary statistics today we learn how to skew data to support a political party keep in mind that this is the most useful skill as a statistician and will definitely get you a job.

Uhh. Please note, that the journalist here has taken it into his own right to change what people answered. The exact question was, "How likely is it that people in the federal government either assisted in the 9/11 attacks or took no action to stop the attacks because they wanted the United States to go to war in the Middle East?" Not "Did Bush know."

And I would say it was somewhat likely as well. It certainly is possible. And there is a lot about 9/11 that still doesn`t add up. I`m not saying that the government did it necessarily, but some things are just... wrong about what happened that day. And I don`t mean wrong as in evil, I mean things how they happened... just don`t make sense.

Baal: Nowhere in your link does it say "Did GWB know Al Qaeda were planning to hijack aircraft and target the WTC?" is correctly answered with a yes."

It does however mention the inspiration for the attack, Bill Clinton`s `wag the dog` tomahawk missile attack in `98. After US missile strikes on his base in Afghanistan in 1998, Bin Ladin told followers he wanted to retaliate in Washington, according to a service.

Thanks for proving one of my previous points about Bill Clinton`s affair with Monica Lewinsky helping cause 9/11.

If Bush knew, Clinton knew as well. GW had only been in office eight months when 9/11 happened. The reports being cited as `evidence` against Bush were published during the Clinton administration.

Liberals just can`t bring themselves to not look at the Bush administration with a jaundiced eye, they`d rather blame Bush for everything under the sun.

False Flag Operation. governments have been using them for centuries, in fact the Vietnam "war" was started with Gulf of Tonkin incident...To believe your government wouldn`t assassinate its own president to escalate a war that is so profitable would be as naive as believing it without evidence. My point is there is not enough evidence available to prove things either way, however i might note that the way the evidence was carted away before the right people had the chance to investigate does not help the case of the accused...

Saying that going to war in the middle east was something that the government wanted to do isn`t a huge leap. There is an argument to be made for that. However, saying that the United States government planned, or didn`t want to stop the 9/11 attacks is proposterous. I`m sure that these same people who believe that the United States government is guilty for aiding the 9/11 attackers also believe we never landed on the moon. They are a bunch of drating morons.
