Hey, who doesn"t love boobs? But is there a time and a place to show off the goods? Should they conceal or reveal I-A-B?

Cleavage is part of someone`s physical attributes, this deserves the same sort of interest you would give a post about showing multiple chins. Snarky, but not inappropriate.

$100 says that either a woman or a republican compiled that list. No real man would consider more than about 3 of those to be either inappropriate or at least gross.

As far as the Katy Perry incident on Sesame Street goes, it was far more inappropriate to pander her sleazy music to children. The first verse of the real songs says "Yeah, you PMS like a Bitch". Do we really want to be sensationalizing this kind of music for children? THAT is more inappropriate.

All that is achieved by freaking out over cleavage being shown around children is to give them even more neuroses about how "shameful" nakedness is.

I`ve always been annoyed, as well, by how we only get two options: dress like a nun or be seen sexually. I wish there was a way to dress lightly but still come off as non-sexual.

I`ve never considered cleavage to be inappropriate, however there is some cleavage I would rather not see. I`m lookin` at you Germany. Actually I`m not, I`m lookin` away, far far away, or one spot up.

What? Is this photographic evidence that women actually have breasts? That`s shocking! Why... why... oh, wait a sec... is that what those things in my top are? Huh.
Never mind.
Angilion, I have a great example for you. Scott Brown the republican somehow won the senate in Massachusetts despite many jokes about his old male modeling days and a popular picture of him posing completely naked (with the view of his junk blocked.) If a woman who posed naked as a model tried to run for office there`s no way she`d get far.
That`s a great example of something different. The photo was past, not present, i.e. he wasn`t (not) dressing that way as part of his campaign, nor did he appear on TV like that.

I agree with your point, at least for the USA, but it`s not the same point.

This sounds like the clucking of disapproving old hens to me.

Also: guys are never scrutinized for their public dress, because how often do guys walk out in public with all of their junk showing except the tip?
But you never hear anyone complaining about guys dressing too provocatively, now do we?
Can you give an example of a man dressing too provocatively on a news program or children`s TV program?

It is in a political campaign, because it makes you look bad. Imagine a picture of a male politician wearing a well-filled posing pouch and showing half his arse used in an election campaign with the slogan "I have more to offer". Hardly conducive to being taken seriously unless the election is for some kind of porn award.

The only person who could complain about cleavage is someone who believes that the female body is shameful and must be concealed. That person obviously hates women and is either in gay denial (if a "straight" man) or a self-loathing penis envious woman who wishes she had been born male (like the mom who grabbed the other mom`s boobs to prove a point...what that point is, I don`t know, except maybe that she thinks boobs are somehow shameful and is probably a closet female to male transsexual in denial)

I fail to see what the problem is. All but one is American, and Americans tend to be "scandalized" by the word `sex` in public, let alone any thing regarding the female form in all its curvaceous beauty.

It seems odd to me to say that boobs are inappropriate to children when most of them started out in life sucking on them.
