I still like my time coded vinyl. That said, this MaxMSP project looking thing is BA.

@phoneybone: I have never even seen a club WITHOUT turntables (only clubs with dodgy needles). Vinyl sure as hell isn`t dead, and it really isn`t decaying either.
Even though I use Serato now, I still buy and use vinyl regularly.

If it was the future of DJ`ing, it would be out now... seeing as I watched this a couple years ago.

The fact that it`s translucent is bad-the-fcuk-ass.
and I haven`t seen a vinyl turntable in a club for years now, vinyl isn`t dying, it`s dead and decaying

Very cool, but sometimes it`s easier to get a feel for the music when you can physically feel it.

Great Idea I`ve played on one before awesome and fun. Still doesn`t beat the feeling of being able to mix on vinyl

I want one just to mix up my CDs/MP3s. It`s pretty awesome.

"Until someone kicks it!" That`s true of pretty much all expensive electronics.

I can`t lie, that looks pretty sick. Any hip hop head knows there`s nothing that compares to the feel of scratching a record though.

the only difference with vinyl is that this setup can also work as a surface to snort cocaine from.

i think it would be cool to have as a flashy addition to your setup, but no current touch technology beats true haptic feedback

Vinyl isn`t even used that much now anyway. A lot of DJs have digital turntables, though not as awesome as this one. I want it.

Okay, here`s the plan. When I turn 60, I`m going to buy one of these, retire, and do weddings and
bar mitzvahs on the side for a little extra cash. Then dance around just like our funky grandpa friend and have the time of my life.
