It`s just a bloke on stilts with things strapped on his arms to make them longer.

Lillim: Perhaps less than that, There has been good progress made in bio-mechanics and bio-robotics lately. But this thing is not "new" it`s old.

Yes, but now that it`s been done, people will be improving on it. Combine this concept with the robotic dog stuff, and I give it less than 50 years before we seen robotic suits.

"Not anymore they aren`t. Too soon?"

You won`t be laughing when their radioactive androids take over the world.

This contraption is all based on using pantographs, no hydraulics, pneumatics, or electric motors.

You couldn`t lift anymore than normal with it, actually because of the leverage involved the amount of lift would be less than normal.

It`s not very practical except maybe as a skeleton for parade characters. There are far better exoskeletons being produced right now that can lift heavy objects and others that assist the users mobility.

Imagine an infinity of these... each one hooked up to a larger one. As in, you inside a suit, inside a suit, inside a suit, inside a suit, etc.

Just need some way of powering it!

Combine Cyberdine, Raytheon, and Skeletonics, then I`ll start cheering on the exo-skeleton suit.

I`m not sure I understand the point of a non-robotic exo-skeleton suit...it does nothing to enhance the person at all and in fact makes them slower, heavier and less dexterous.

call me when they have motorized versions of this!
