@shaffshots12 You`re showing signs of Small Penis Syndrome. Go ride your crotch rocket through a small neighbourhood and back off the kid, dickwelt.

Isn`t the integral of sinx= -cosx? Then it would be +cosx

kinda disappointed, all this would have been covered in a beginner level calc class. He`s really smart for his age and everything, but i`ve seen way more intense kid genesis

Ya, except word problems are the easiest thing of my life. Try defining higher dimensional physics with math. Simplest example: what is the rate in change of "hyper-volume" undergone by a "hyper-sphere" when the radius changes at a rate of 2 meters per second per second.

HINT: cross sections of a 4D sphere would present as infinite series of varied spheres in 3D.

Actually knowing calculus and integrating equations isn`t difficult at all, it is just memorizing stuff and doing it. The tricky part comes in when you have to use it in actual word problems that make no sense at all

How sad people feel threatened that they feel the need to come internet brag over a 11 year old.

The one-upmanship on the internet by people who post comments always cracks me up.

Meh, whatthehell, I`m at uni with several maths courses. Not confused, but a bit annoyed at his pronounciation.

"I am here to help you with all your math phobias"
I suspect people with a math phobia would prefer not to be taught by a 12 year old.

@Volsunga Why are you such a troll all the drating time? Does it make you feel better about yourself because in-fact, you`re truly incompetent?

@Volsunga, I read an article about this kid yesterday. He`s autistic, and he really does understand all of this.

"Looks more like a kid acting out a script rather than someone who actually understands what he`s doing. If he understood it, he`d be explaining why he`s doing each step as he`s doing it. "

I disagree. He made some mistakes, and then corrected them at one point. Scripts don`t include those. Also, getting an 11 year old to follow a script with a lot of "x" references in there would be tough. The kid knows his stuff. But as others have said, this is basic Calculus, and not too tough to understand if you like Math. The fact that he`s doing it at 11 is impressive, but not overly so.

This isn`t hard people, if you like math...

who the heck uploaded this? it`s basic. don`t label something as a head scratched unless... can you guess? that`s right, unless it really IS a headscratcher.

This was all just basic first-year calculus. I could easily have been doing this at his age were it not for my criminally negligent public education.

@ I-IS-BORED im fairly sure this child has a fairly strong understanding on math since his white board had a number of theories on it also if you watch some of his other videos he starts explaining stars in space in terms of math

Looks more like a kid acting out a script rather than someone who actually understands what he`s doing. If he understood it, he`d be explaining why he`s doing each step as he`s doing it. Honestly though, people should be learning calculus at that age if we want society to go anywhere. derivatives and integrals aren`t that hard to learn, it`s just rare that you get somebody who can teach it.

That`s Calc 1 not 2, he`s 12 and he`s doing the math of a 16/17 year old ,not university/college but he appears to be doing it purely by memorization like a robot, not from actual understanding.

This kind of integration is simple compared to the stuff you have to do when you start using things like Jacobians. Damn you maths, why do I need you for a Physics degree??

This is the most useful thing I`ve ever ran into on IAB .I understood everything and this will probably help me out later in my calculus class.

1 minute into the video:
If I put my mind to it, I could have gotten past Algebra in high school. Thing is, I just had sh*tty teachers.

5 minutes into the video:
Or maybe I`m just a simpleton who doesn`t understand math. Yeah, let`s just go with that...

It`s just so much simpler to learn Physics after you learn it...

None of this poo is hard at all. You learn all of this in a typical Calc II class. Yeah, he`s 12...so what? He started learning early.

Am I a bit jealous? Yes, but not because he`s 12, because I got my ass kicked by Calc II (infinite sums and series wtf)
