This kid is gifted in math but I doubt his reading skills are up to par... Also, it wouldn`t take much to memorize this one video or be prompted. If this is legit, good for him, we need more geniuses on this earth.

None of this poo is hard at all. You learn all of this in a typical Calc II class. Yeah, he`s 12...so what? He started learning early.

Am I a bit jealous? Yes, but not because he`s 12, because I got my ass kicked by Calc II (infinite sums and series wtf)

Looks more like a kid acting out a script rather than someone who actually understands what he`s doing. If he understood it, he`d be explaining why he`s doing each step as he`s doing it. Honestly though, people should be learning calculus at that age if we want society to go anywhere. derivatives and integrals aren`t that hard to learn, it`s just rare that you get somebody who can teach it.

"Looks more like a kid acting out a script rather than someone who actually understands what he`s doing. If he understood it, he`d be explaining why he`s doing each step as he`s doing it. "

I disagree. He made some mistakes, and then corrected them at one point. Scripts don`t include those. Also, getting an 11 year old to follow a script with a lot of "x" references in there would be tough. The kid knows his stuff. But as others have said, this is basic Calculus, and not too tough to understand if you like Math. The fact that he`s doing it at 11 is impressive, but not overly so.

Actually knowing calculus and integrating equations isn`t difficult at all, it is just memorizing stuff and doing it. The tricky part comes in when you have to use it in actual word problems that make no sense at all

Ya, except word problems are the easiest thing of my life. Try defining higher dimensional physics with math. Simplest example: what is the rate in change of "hyper-volume" undergone by a "hyper-sphere" when the radius changes at a rate of 2 meters per second per second.

HINT: cross sections of a 4D sphere would present as infinite series of varied spheres in 3D.
