Hey there Mr. Observant, I wasn`t calling your opinions retarded (at least not in the part of my comment you quoted) I was making fun of your user name. See how retarded is in your name? Almost as if you put it there on purpose or something...

" while I admire your courage in admitting your disability in such a public place, I would ask that you not spread the whole "retarded" thing on too thick."

In the same paragraph in which you chide me for assigning that line of thinking to liberals alone, you call my opinions retarded. Good job. You`re trying to justify your own behavior by saying that "everyone does it." No, everyone does not do it. No, not all liberals do it, and no, not everyone who does it is liberal... but that does not in any way refute my assertion that it is a highly common theme of the liberal argument.

Here`s an idea: Stop letting the media control your opinions and actually think for yourself. That goes for both sides of the argument. Yes, Fox News is biased. So is MSNBC. So is NPR. So is your local news station. No news station neutral, so you need to take everything you read with a grain of salt. Read all sides of the issue, and don`t expect everything you read to be absolute fact.

Hey, retardedbear... while I admire your courage in admitting your disability in such a public place, I would ask that you not spread the whole "retarded" thing on too thick. For example, your little jab about the liberal argument being "My opinion is right, and yours is stupid" seems to lose it`s sting when I point out that the same could be said of nearly any group, because individuals in that group will consistently boil the real issues down to "I`m right, and you`re stupid". It`s human nature, and therefore not a very biting remark. Also, my opinion is right, and yours is stupid.

"Hey Mr. 2 Posts @RETARDEDBEAR"

I see what you did there, pointing out that I have only posted two times on "i-am-bored.com," while also making various assertions about my own beliefs, based purely on assumption.

Your argument is that in order to be educated, you must watch liberal propaganda. Ironically, you are using that argument in a forum discussing conservative bias.

If you want to make a point, back it up with a real source. All of the information presented in a documentary must be backed up by sources; you don`t present the documentary itself as the source.

Hey Mr. 2 Posts @RETARDEDBEAR

The movie is also available for you to watch and then go ahead and come back here and yap your trap.

But like any republican, if it`s not real information being portrayed like from FOX news and their media affiliates, you won`t be interested in hearing it. That, is what is frightening to the rest of the nation.

Again, it`s: Outfoxed: Murdoch`s War on Journalism

"reality has a liberal bias"

Ignorance is bliss.

"You can`t explain that."

It is explained literally 2 comments below yours.

"This will explain all that the educated folks already know and unlike the uneducated (like you) pretend that you do."

Ah, yes, watch a biased faux-documentary about Fox News bias, and you will be educated. Makes sense.

"I guess this is just one of those topics where we have differing opinions, and we pretend that your opinions aren`t pulled from some pretty deep crevices in the human anatomy."

Does anyone else notice the theme of the liberal argument? "My opinion is right, yours is stupid" pretty much sums it up.

"Baal: Of course you didn`t divulge that the poll you linked is from Public Policy Polling."

It`s on every mother-drating page of the report. I know I`m not a right wing propagandist who frames everything with right wing talking points like you are, but really, stop being a complete dumbass.

EVERY PAGE.
It`s on EVERY page.
2 logos per page, 20 in total.
The name "PublicPolicyPolling" is in big bold letters at the top, and little letters at the bottom. That`s 20 times in the document, not counting the first page which has a couple extra.
The entire report is written on their letter head.

I guess this is just one of those topics where we have differing opinions, and we pretend that your opinions aren`t pulled from some pretty deep crevices in the human anatomy.

@yusuksomuch Hey there Mr. FOX supporter. Let`s see you put your money where your mouth is or as usual, we`ll just expect that you`ll lie that you did watch this movie (below). This will explain all that the educated folks already know and unlike the uneducated (like you) pretend that you do.

This poll is meant for the Bill O`Reilly audience. If you watched his show, you would know that Bill complains nightly about the liberal bias shown by the networks in the poll. It is a poll reflecting the subject matter of the show.

It would not make any sense to add Fox News in the context of this poll. Most people who hate on Fox News do not actually watch the network, and therefore do not understand the context in situations such as this. All they care about is that it reinforces their stubborn belief that Fox News is some sort of evil right-wing propaganda machine. They can`t accept that there is a news network with a conservative perspective, because they only want to see reporting that reflects their own ideology.

It`s hard to distrust something that is SO F*CKING BORING as PBS news. Plus it doesn`t really matter what public opinion of adherence to facts is. It only matters what objective research on their reports shows. In that department, Fox News is still the most inaccurate, but MSNBC isn`t far behind.

Baal: Of course you didn`t divulge that the poll you linked is from Public Policy Polling. PPP is an American Democratic Party-affiliated polling firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Nice try there Baal, but PPP has long been known for liberal biased polling.

I remember being in an American airport on a stopover shortly after the Boxing Day quake and the following tsunami.

The news was playing on a telivision near me while I was waiting. Over a half hour of coverage, I saw:

Long segment about the US President`s speech about the quake.
Long segment for a wretchedly self-absorbed "could it happen here?" investigation, with interviews with multiple "experts", and flood maps and CGI renditions of what might happen if such a tsunami hit the eastern seaboard of America.
TINY segment showing footage of the actual tragedy.
Then back to an in-depth analysis of the President`s speech.

I have no idea which network it was. But my god, I was disgusted by how vapidly self-absorbed it was. A tragedy had just happened, with tens of thousands dying, and all they could think to talk about was the American angle on it.

FOX news is the second most trusted News source in America, with 42% saying they trust it. PBS is #1 with 50%.

FOX news is also the single most [b">distrusted[/b"> news source, with 46% saying they distrust it.

Looky!

Overall, that puts them behind NBC, which whilst 41% distrust them, 41% trust them, giving you an even 0% break, compared to FOX`s -4% or CNN`s -3%.

PBS is at +20%, easily outpacing literally everyone else by a huge margin, and the only one with more trust than distrust.

Only Fox News would create such a crock to get the spotlight off of themselves.

if Fox News was to add themselves..that would be bias.....since they did not, they are leaving themselves out of the picture. No one can turn around and say the poll was rigged and no one can say "msnbc is more bias than fox news" because we dont know if that is true or not (since fox news was not on the poll) - plus people visiting fox news arent going to vote for fox news anyways...the only ones who would are trolls who would skew the results...

I watch Fox sometimes. You know, it`s the most popular news network in the US, as they keep reminding us. I tune in every now and again to see what all the fuss is about.

At first I`m disappointed, but then I realise how much it helps me understand why the Jerry Springer Show was so popular. Which in turn helps me understand society, retarded as it is as a collective.

Rupert Murdock had plans to establish a cable channel in Canada similar to Fox News, but that plan was recently dropped. Why did he drop the plan? Because he couldn`t get Canadian politicians to strike down a law requiring news reporting to be factually true.

Bill o Rielly isn`t on the same journalistic level as MSNBC, AP, NPR. The point is that Fox news doesn`t feature on the poll, not that Bill O Rielly isn`t in it.

If Bill was in it, it would just be f*cking arrogant.

It`s just drating stupid that people BELIEVE that stuff, and it`s blatantly obvious that all that Fox cares about is ratings, not objectivity.

Yeah, biased poll, not surprised. In answer to Bill O`Reilly`s question on the left though: Because that`s how reality works. You don`t make decisions in a vacuum- everything everyone does affects others in one way or another. You can either choose to fight against that fact, and blame everyone else for your problems, or take responsibility for meeting the circumstances you face every day, and work to ensure that your choices affect others positively.
