You know what makes me lol? Christians and Muslims (and Jews, but I digress) believe in the same Abrahamic god. When was the last time you saw a group of Christians terrorizing Jews, at least that went public? I`m not saying it doesn`t happen, mind you. But come on.

because, i`m sure that if jesus was standing right there next to those people, he`d be HAPPY they were doing that... makes perfect sense doesn`t it? he`d be totally pleased that there are people using his name to make someone feel like crap (or try to at least) and making a mockery of themselves and christianity as well. this is what gets under my skin the most, these people claim to follow jesus, when they sit back and reject everything he was trying to say... albeit i don`t believe he was the son of god, (but that`s like, my opinion dude) i do think that he existed, but was more of a new-age hippie kind of guy that wanted everyone to LISTEN to him, not nessecarily dogmatically follow teachings in a book that wasn`t even written while he was alive, because he`s trying to teach people how to live in peace.

No, I`m not mad but I do find it offensive when people start quoting the bible using "thee`s and thou`s" and so on. Nobody talks like that now and I no longer have the patience to read AND translate bible verse anymore. After 12 years of Catholisism shoved down my throat, I`d just rather have things spelled out plainly. I refer everyone to faustshadow`s post below.

I notice how the same people that shout the loudest about not judging all muslims by the action of a few creeps are more than ready to label all Christians because of a handful of dip$hits.

And goaliejerry, what does the Tea Party have to do with this? You just make the Democrat party look like a bunch of trolls every time you open your mouth with that "tea bagger" stuff.

Has it ever occured to all these religious people out there that they, not only might be wrong, but in all probability, are wrong?
It doesn`t matter what religion you follow. Your faith is more of a guideline to live your life. YOUR LIFE! No one else`s. I`m so tired of people interpreting the bible in such a way that they think they know what it was supposed to mean...especially when they all say "It`s God`s word. God`s law" and then turn around and say "One can never know the mind of God". If that`s true (and that`s actually one I do believe), then why do they keep insisting their interpretation is the right one?
Oh, and by the way, judging by this video, I assume it`s O.K. to yell "Jesus loves you" to a priest`s face while he is conducting mass. Right? I mean, I`m just exercising my free speech rights.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I will say that the muslim, that was apparently there to protest and want sharia law imposed on America, isnt much better. What we have there are extremes on both sides.

I won`t take either side in that debate. All I know is that I am deathly afraid of people who are so convinced they are right, that they won`t stop for a minute and consider the other sides opinion.

I have my own opinions and beliefs, but I don`t feel the need to shove them in everyone else`s faces.

"Personally, I think it`s a bunch of poo. Well, I mean, life is sacred? Who said so? God? Hey, if you read history, you realize that God is one of the leading causes of death. Has been for thousands of years. Hindus, Muslims, Jews, Christians all taking turns killing each other `cause God told them it was a good idea. The sword of God, the blood of the land, vengeance is mine. Millions of dead motherdraters. Millions of dead motherdraters all because they gave the wrong answer to the God question. `You believe in God?` `No.` Boom. Dead. `You believe in God?` `Yes.` `You believe in my God? `No.` Boom. Dead. `My God has a bigger dick than your God!"

"what the hell is going on here?"

A radical imam organized a rally in front of the White House on Thursday, calling for Shar`ia law in America. A conservative organized a counter-rally. At the end of the rally, the Muslim in the video showed up and began to pray in front of the White House. The counter-protesters who were left over, apparently still pumped from the rally, surrounded him, and what you see in the video ensued.

Of course I would say they were behaving outrageously, just like I already said these people are. The impression given by this video, however, is that they are there just to give Muslims a hard time.

If we took your scenario and labeled the video as a bunch of anti-Christian protesters yelling and throwing things at a Christian, insinuating that they were there just to harass Christians, wouldn`t you at least want people to know that they were there to protest WBC, and not Christianity as a whole?

Kinda confused by the video, so I`ll just make a semi-relevant comment. Muslims and Christians worship the same god. Any religious person who has a go at a person of another religion just for that reason doesn`t deserve to call themselves Christian/Muslim etc. Christians saying Muslims are terrorists is wrong, Muslims attacking Christian ideas is wrong. Just let people get on with their own religion and don`t try to force yours on other people.

Once again, everyone comments while being sorely misled as to the context of the video.

The video was taken at the end of the rally held by the radical imam Anjem Choudary. The purpose of the rally was, of course, to call for the reign of Shar`ia law in America. Frank Gaffney coordinated a counter-rally.

The man seen praying was not part of the radical imam`s rally. He showed up to pray in front of the White House just as the rally ended and was surrounded by the anti-Shar`ia protesters, which is what you see in the video.

The behavior of these people is obviously ludicrous, however they are not there simply to hate on Muslims just for being Muslim. The rally they are protesting was fueled by religious hatred in the first place.

Idiot. What kind of God would tell people to kill someone? Idiot. You both worship the same God. Yes, folks, that`s right. Allah, which in Arabic, means something like One True God, is the God of Abraham. Same as the Father of Christ, and the God worshiped by the Jews. Christians in Arabic speaking countries even call God, Allah. Hell, Islam even puts Jesus Christ on the same level as Muhammad (although they don`t believe he is God as Man). If we could all look and see our similarities, instead of our differences, life would be a whole lot nicer.
