Uh-oh, more bullsh*t... I mean what`s he going to achieve? Is he going to make the government admit it was them all along? Get the nobel prize for finding out it was Bush all along? Get killed by the government because he was getting close to the truth?

Also, him trying it out on a couple of pieces of metal to compare with a 500,000 tonne, 526m building is not really the same.

The US military was gearing up for conflict and PNAC needed a domestic excuse to get the public to unquestionably support a conflict. So there is evidence for and against an "inside" job, but then again everybody knows that the CIA "doesn`t play" with terrorists.

In regards to 9/11, many people died, but many, many more have died since then because of the aggression used by the United States Military, against civilians. Lies lead to war(s), lies maintain these wars. Who`s accountable to who?

For those who are wondering who/what PNAC is; it a small group called the Project for the New American Century.

Anyone who thinks that anything other than a plane hitting them brought them down is stupid. Take a building made of steel (which significantly weakens as it heats up), hit it with somewhere between 15-20 million pounds of force, flood it with 40,000 gallons of jet fuel, light it on fire, and let it burn for a few hours. Odd are, if it hasn`t collapsed yet, it will have to demolished for risk of collapsing.

All this means (im playing the devils advocate by giving this video legitimacy, there are a lot of logical errors in this video that have already been addressed in the years since this has been posted on youtube) is that whichever contractor was the lowest bidder that built the WTC lied about the strength/consistency of their construction. Is this really news?

OK, I understand posting the helicopter vid. It was the first new thing in years and a good reminder of the tragedy that many have already forgotten.

This is just stupid though. He`s an engineer pretending to be a scientist. What he did here is not remotely a scientific investigation. It was a "how can I make thermite/thermate produce a similar visual effect" engineering project.

Even if we ignore the bullpoo argument that "kerosene can`t melt steel" (no, but it makes it hot enough to lose structural integrity). Even if this were an accurate depiction of what could be done to bring down a building (subtle explosion my ass! There are many less traceable and more effective explosives), there is still the blatant logistical problem of planting these charges in the walls and support structure of a building that`s busy 24/7 and not getting noticed.

This is a common fallacy... "it is possible, so it must be true". However, there are other explanations, and most that don`t involve elaborate conspiracies and detailed plans. Look at how much effort he had to put into duplicating the effect, that right there makes the chances of him being correct unlikely; if the explanation was simple, perhaps I could buy it.

Face it, people died because some religious fanatics believed their god wanted them to do this horrible thing. `Nuff said.

This was actually pretty interesting. The conclusions he draws are preposterous, but it is interesting nonetheless. I`m wondering if the results would be different if the steel were covered in fire-proof material.

His assertion is that thermite "bombs" were used to cut and weaken the steel columns at the point of impact. This would mean that the people hijacking the planes would have had to aim for the spot where they were placed, or they would have had to place thermite on all of the upper floors just in case. After the plane crashed into the building at 500mph, the thermite supposedly is set off to weaken the structure further. If that is the case, I must ask, why did the buildings continue to stand, even after the thermite had supposedly cut the columns?

All this stuff is great in theory, but it still won`t change anything. You won`t be able to take down the government...you`ll "disappear" or have an "accident" of some sort before you could possibly prove anything. So by doing all these experiments, and showing everyone on youtube is like a 9year old finally figuring out how to tie their own shoe. "Well that`s just great, I`m so proud of you Suzy" *pats head* Everyone in their right mind KNOWS FOR A FACT that governments LIE and do TERRIBLE THINGS to people for reason unknown to majority of us. Well you don`t have to melt steel in order to compromise a steel structures integrity just get it hot enough to be pliable. I`ve seen a lumber yard burn to a pile of rubble and the steel I beams from it were twisted like spaghetti that was from lumber and construction chemicals burning nevermind jet fuel. Here`s a old picture of I beams after a common fire..

If you notice they`re bent over a wooden support beam.

I`m all for a good conspiracy! But this one sux. It has been demonstrated to my satisfaction that the jets & resulting fire brought WTC #1 & #2 down.
Keep in mind: there`s covert government programs to promote stupid theories like this one in order to discredit the more valid questions. It`s a cover-up for sure, but not of explosives in the Twin Towers. Building #7 perhaps...

The REAL question is: what hit the Pentagon? It sure wasn`t an airplane. There`s at least 2 videos of the crash, sealed from public view: why?

But so long as kooks like these get airtime, the real questions will be ignored. Sad, eh?

I believe both buildings were brought down by a single "magic" bullet fired by a woman in a polka dot dress who was standing on intersecting ley lines near the moon landing sound stage. Proof is in the satellite photos where you can see that the locations of the supposed plane crashes matches a connect the dots puzzle in the March 1981 issue of Highlights. The people behind the attack are Glenn Beck and George Soros who are both members of the Priory of Sion. The did it to uncover the Ark of the covenant that was buried under the towers by the Illuminati.

Back prior to 9/11, if airport security was lax, wouldn`t it be possible that the hijackers brought their own accelerants checked into baggage as the intent was to blow the planes up to begin with? Instead of the goverenment being a target of cospirators, couldn`t "they" (LOL) just accept that materials may have been introduced by the hijackers? Anyway, I`m kinda astounded that this is still an issue today is all.

The Twin Towers were designed to withstand the impacts of planes that size, even though they weren`t using planes of that size at the time. They figured the greater the impact absorption, the better.

And seriously, most of us have already researched these topics and have come to this conlusion: Even if this is all true, we can`t do anything except call for another investigation which will inevitably be led by the same entities that conducted the first investigations. So we can`t do anything about the lies. Plus, most of the physical evidence has been reduced, recycled, and reused by now.

5Cats: They found what remained of the engines of the plane as well it`s landing gear, inside the pentagon. A plane hit the pentagon, no doubt about it.

All of the `truther` theories have either been disproved or so outlandishly complicated that they make no sense. I mean seriously, do you really believe thermite was installed in the towers when they were initially made ? If so then how would it be possible to predict exactly where to install it ? How is it that no remains of such contraptions, like this guy made, exist ?

Planes hit the WTC buildings and the Pentagon, too obvious. However, the original theory about the WTC buildings falling because of the fire is ludicrous.

The video points out some lesser known parts to the towers most aren`t aware of. And for all you that say "he`s talking about thermite not thermate! idiot!" He IS using the correct term.

"THERMATE - slightly more powerful version of thermite which is made by combining 68.7% regular thermite, 29.0% Barium Nitrate, 2.0% sulfur, and 0.3% dextrin."

Did they ever come up with a better idea on building 7?

The numerous eyewitness accounts and images of a multi-storey whole smashed through the side of it by part of the twin towers falling hundreds of feet into building 7 seems plausible enough to me. Enough kinetic energy will break anything. Add the fire that people witnessed inside it (with that much damage to a building filled with furnishings and furniture, fire is very likely) and it`s make plenty of sense.

vv @Crackr I said I do NOT think bombs or explosives were involved in the Towers, eh?

The "wheel" they produced has the wrong number of vent holes in it. The "engine part" isn`t actually on the 767 that hit the Pentagon, it had another make of engines... so they changed the story and said it`s part of the APU, which is laughable!

Look at the pictures of the Pentagon: one hole, not a scratch from those two 6-ton engines! It`s a cover-up, plain as day.
But as was mentioned, there`s little anyone outside the government can do about it, and the government is the one covering it up...

With magic/alien technology. Sure, that makes much more sense than explanations that only use what definitely happened and things that definitely exist.

And yes, they would have needed magic or alient technology advanced enough to be indistinguishable from magic to us. The huge amount of invisible explosives laid invisibly by invisible people in no time, for example. So some people have replaced "explosives" with "thermite" or with "thermate", but it would still have to be invisible and laid invisibly by invisible people. Also, silent and intangible. Maybe it was beamed in from somewhere else at the time. That would "explain" it.

They said the aircraft disintegrated into a "plasma ball" BUT they bodies of 90+ people were recovered. Well, which is it? Bodies survive plasma balls, but the wings don`t?

And if a 767 hit the Pentagon: where`s the tail? I`ve seen many pictures of wreckage and the one thing that survives is the tail! It`s the second strongest part of the aircraft (after wing roots, eh?) and far away from the fuel.

The government spending billions of dollars bribing hundreds of officials, countless witnesses, and the entire Corps of Engineers in order to get into a long, relatively unrelated war over a single countries oil reserves makes perfect sense. The fact that we don`t know absolutely everything about the first ever structure collapse of that magnitude is proof!

Demonstrating something is possible does not equate to evidence that it happened.

Parsimony favors the towers collapsing on their own due to heat and stress on the steal columns, the fact is that there is no need to throw in other factors.

The whole thermite debate is not only BS its obvious BS. So what if he finds a way to make it possible? The fact remains that no one would use thermite to cut vertical steel when there are far easier and more reliable ways to do it. This is all just rationalization after the fact in order to fit a hypothesis that allows for some sinister conspiracy. It all flies in the face of reason.

5Cats: There was no cover up, They`ve been able to put all 4 planes back together with the parts they`ve been able to find. Some parts may never be found, just because the debris was literally vaporized. The FAA and NTSB have done tests to show that the aluminum in airplanes melts and oxides at relatively low temperatures. Toss a empty soda can in a bonfire there won`t be much if anything left when the fire dies out.

The impacts of the planes were so energetic that only small pieces of human bones were left. These crashes were not the relatively slow speed crashes that happen on takeoffs and landings, or into water where the fire remains on the water`s surface. This is why more debris has been found from other airline crashes and not the 9/11 planes.

So, they placed crazy thermite devices on the steel beams, which cut the steel without destroying the casing the thermite is in. Why didn`t we find steel beams with these thermite devices still attached? In order to actually cut the steel, the casing MUST survive, because the casing is what is supposed to contain the thermite and cause the energy to be directed at cutting the steel.

On top of that, they somehow snuck these devices in.... "Hey, what are those guys doing in our office, cutting holes in the wall and bolting crap to the structure?"

"Oh don`t worry about them, they`re just repairing the air conditioning."

Superb experiments! The only problem is: assuming 9/11 was controlled, how was it possible for the government to insert the explosives without anyone`s notice (even at night the streets were dotted with people)? Furthermore how was it possible for the government to detonate the thermate from afar? Since we saw no large explosions in the building (only small isolated explosions) we can conclude that if they planted thermate, they would have had to have used large and separated quantities. Transportation and insertion of such powders wouldn`t have gone unnoticed.

No, we can`t leave this alone, because if it`s discovered(admitted I mean, I think it`s already been discovered) the planes alone didn`t bring the towers down, we have bigger problems.

This video proved that others are either stupid or liars. National Geographic couldn`t get 175 pounds of thermite to burn steel? Umm, you`re doing it wrong.

Anyway, just because something is possible doesn`t mean it happened but has anyone else provided a believable cause the for molten showers shown pouring from the towers?

That is this man`s goal, to offer a plausible cause for the molten steel in the first place.

Someone mentioned no containers were found. Being at ground zero of ground zero, they would have to have melted eventually.

How did they not get noticed?
Pretend you`re at work. You see a phone company employee walking into an office carrying a toolbox. Do you stop him? Do you tell someone? Probably not.
What`s he doing in there? Fixing something? Bugging the phone?
Does anyone here know how to access these spots in the towers infrastructure? I certainly don`t. How do we know they had to "punch a hole in an office wall" Maybe there were easy access panels for inspection purposes. Perhaps you could pry back a window sill and have all the access you wanted. Clearly, if this were pulled off, the people involved would have put a LOT of time into it.
"How did they set it off from afar?" Really? How do you turn on your tv from afar? How do you tell your PVR to record from your cell phone from afar?

Why are we so scared of questioning what has been presented as truth?

Go ahead and accept the government regulated media`s explanation. Don your rose colored glasses and see that everything is happy and alright. Your government will protect you.

Ah, yes, of course. They dressed up like they are from the phone company, then just go to those "easy access panels" to get to the structural support beams, then discreetly bolt a thermite device to the beam. They then repeat this process for multiple support beams, up and down the tower, knowing beforehand where the plane is actually going to hit.

And yes... I think if I was sitting in my office and someone just walks in and starts messing with stuff, I`m going to ask questions.

You can see the black marks on the facade of the Pentagon where the wings were obliterated. They hit the reinforced concrete wall going 500+mph, and they are made out of lightweight aluminum. The engines, which are very heavy, penetrated the wall and left gaping holes, as well as paths of destruction through the ground floor. One penetrated the exterior wall of the 3rd ring and was found; I believe the picture that CrakrJak posted marked as landing gear is actually a part of that engine.

Landing gear are purposely made to be one of the strongest parts of the plane, that`s why it survived the crash. Note, The landing gear was still inside the fuselage of the plane when it impacted the ground then hit the pentagon. You can see sheets of melted aluminum from the wings around it.

Now for the, How the F%#k would they be able to access the beams, section.

In the nine months prior up to the day of 9/11 the towers were undergoing an extensive elevator modernization. Even NIST acknowledges that a few of the elevators were not working on 9/11 due to this renovation.

This is very important info, because the elevators are directly adjacent to the core columns and are easily accessible from the elevator shafts. This means the columns could have been rigged and nobody would have ever known a thing about it.

    See how simple that was?

Yeah, that is exactly why everyone is up in arms. It is a symbol to the radical Muslims in the world that they tore down the American towers and put a mosque there. Muslims are all about symbolism.

"but theres a big difference between extremists and your average Islamic jo."

He is known for saying one thing in English to Christians, and another thing in Arabic for the Muslims. Are you insinuating that this company was in on it, or that the government sent spies in to sneak past them, or that they posed as them during their day off? The speed at which the steel was recycled is one part of the conspiracy which is actually slightly alarming. Outside of the context of the conspiracy, however, it`s not terribly hard to imagine scenarios in which the procedure was expedited, especially considering the magnitude of the event.

I obviously cannot speak for the ones who made these decisions in haste, and I certainly don`t blame the truthers for questioning this one. It is both their strongest and weakest argument, as it evidences a cover-up, but as is the nature of these things, it is hard to tell what has actually been covered up, if anything.

It wasn`t about Iraq cause that was started about 2 years later and had nothing to do with 9-11 it was about Sadam and him playing games with UN weapons inspectors looking like he was trying to make WMDs and in general being a sick f**k.

If any kinds of explosives/thermite was used then a simple test on the steel would have revealed it.

"as is the nature of these things"

Absolutely not. It is ILLEGAL to destroy evidence before it can be properly examined. There is not one scenario where destroying evidence is allowed. Even for basic house fires it is required that evidence is gathered and examined. What`s worse is that even before the steel was destroyed, you had groups ASKING if they could examine it, and they were ignored.

Why would you ILLEGALLY destroy the evidence to one of the largest crimes in history if there was nothing to hide?

So the theory is....Instead of keeping a simple, "Iraqi terrorists hijacked a couple planes and slammed them into the WTC", the government added a huge amount of risk and involved hundreds of people to wire the buildings and hide the evidence. Then sent a missle in broad daylight, hoping people dont see it. They also wired explosives in the hopes they would not be noticed or burnt in the fire so they can blame a country that they don`t care about and use it as a stepping stone to the country they really do want to attack.

Ya can`t argue with the retarded.

I think you misunderstand what I mean to say. I`m not saying it is okay to destroy evidence, I`m simply saying there is no way to tell why they did it. In other words, if they successfully cover something up, there is no evidence left to tell what they covered up in the first place.

It is very hard to convey my beliefs in 1,000 characters. If it helps you do understand where I`m coming from, I once could have been considered a "truther," in that I questioned the official story. In the end, I concluded that the official story makes way more sense than any conspiracy theory - but that doesn`t mean I still don`t have issues with the official story.

I did not say they were Iraqi terrorists, I was making the point that if this was a government conspircy to attack Iraq, they would have blamed Iraq from the very beginning. Instead of blaming Afganistan and then turning to Iraq.

Also, evidence was not destroyed. The rubble from the building was disposed of. Two planes slammed into the WTC, and except for some dweebs who thing the Gumment is behind the attack, it is quite clear what happened and there is no further need to keep 1,000,000 tons of rubble sitting around to be sifted through. The sifting was done during the clean up.

Now that Democrats are in office, why isnt there an investigation into 9/11? Were they in on it also?

@ Davidildo123 & CrakrJak - There is a HUGE difference between sifting through the rubble for things and actually examining the steel itself and performing SCIENTIFIC tests on it. They are NOT the same thing, not even close.

"it is quite clear what happened"

Oh really?... Then why does SCIENCE disagree? If it is so clear, then why does the NIST admit that they can`t fully explain it? Even after their long as hell report. Doesn`t sound so clear to me.

"there is no further need to keep 1,000,000 tons of rubble sitting around to be sifted through"

Nobody is saying sift through the steel! They are saying EXAMINE the steel. Like I mentioned, evidence is kept and examined even for basic house fires, are you seriously trying to say that there is no need to examine the evidence for one of the largest attacks in American history, especially when it is ILLEGAL to destroy the evidence before it can be properly examined?

Wrong on pretty much all points. When your house is burnt in a forest fire, they do not investigate. It is not ILLEGAl to destroy evidence before it can be properly examined if it is not evidence. It is rubble. Nobody in any position of real knowledge believes it because it is lame and impossible. Congrats on pointing out one of the few exceptions, but for most cases they do investigate. In cases involving a crime it is mandatory to investigate and in fact illegal to destroy any evidence at the crime scene. So unless the killing of a couple thousand people is not a crime then you have failed to show why the steel should have been destroyed.

There are over 1,400 verified architectural and engineering professionals who have signed a petition for an independent investigation. Doesn`t sound like nobody to me.

What you need to prove is how those "special" steel thermite boxes got there. Were they:
-installed there while construction was underway?
That would mean a consipiracy 40-45 years in the making, or that the project manager was a serious jackass.
    -installed there 1998-2000?
That raises the question regarding timing as Bush Jr. took office in 2001. Someone would`ve essentially "known" he would`ve won. Had Al Gore hadn`t run away from the fact that he was Bill Clinton`s VP he would`ve more likely won the White House. Furthermore this "installation" would`ve been under the guise of maintenance. In which case you`ll need to find security records.

So I say this is still supposition and the evidence is at best circumstantial. Then again it wouldn`t be unprecedented.

And its not like the government even had to spend the time and money to do it, you had groups volunteering to do it.

    "...and the outside wall?"

Though the outer wall did indeed help support the building, its main purpose was to handle wind load. The core was more in charge of handling the weight of the building. If you destroyed the core columns the outer columns would not be able to hold the building on their own, therefore there would be no need to place charges on them.

"temperatures would`ve clearly been able to ignite those charges."

As this video demonstrates, thermite needs very high temperatures to ignite. Higher than those recorded in the towers. That plus the use of protective casings would essentially ensure they would not accidentally go off.

"Furthermore elevator modernization usually involves replacing the interface, motor, and cables. Anything beyond that it gets very expensive rather quickly."

You can use capital letters in ILLEGAL and REQUIRED all you want, it doesn`t make it true. The debris was approved for removal by law enforcement, therefore it is not ILLEGAL, even if you type in caps. There was no reason to suspect that there was some sort of mystery evidence in the rubble, so it was OK`d to be disposed of. Besides, comparing a small house fire where they suspect foul play to 1,000,000 pounds of rubble is just a fools game.

It is in fact illegal under federal law to destroy evidence. The state does not have the power to override this, so therefore it was indeed illegal.

Then on top of that you have the Nation Fire Protection Association protocols in which you are required to follow.

NFPA 9.3.6 covers Spoliation of Evidence. Specifically, 9.3.6.7 reads as follows: “Once evidence has been removed from the scene, it should be maintained and not be destroyed or altered until others who have a reasonable interest in the matter have been notified. What you need to understand is that even if you assume the official story is correct, architects and engineers still need to study the steel so that in future building projects they can prevent or at the very least delay a building collapse, and the only way to know how to do that is to fully understand how this one happened.

"I like that whole try to make your opponent look insane cause you can`t prove him wrong tactic you got going on there. When did I ever say I believe in any of that stuff?"

Actually, I find you quite sad and am starting to feel bad for picking on you. You are right. You haven`t said what you believe, because you know that any rational and logical look at the bigger picture will show your silly little conspiricy theories to be just that. Sad, pathetic and silly.

NIST hasn`t been proven wrong, but you like to think so. You like to pretend that you are smarter than the Government, general population, experts, and the media and that you are in on some real truth. But the reality is that you are not. You are just another sheeple, following a group so you can feel special. It makes me want to puke that you would chose to do it on the graves of the victims of 9/11.

Yes they have. In the case of WTC7 NIST claimed many times that it did not fall at free fall speeds, and it wasn`t till some of those engineers on that list attended a technical briefing and proved it to them.... You know.... with evidence.... the fact that you don`t even know this shows that you do not know all the current knowledge about these events and therefore are blindly just following the government.

Oh, another nice tactic you got there. Try and create the illusion that I`m being disrespectful to those that died that day. Real classy. Just so you know there is a large number of people who lost loved ones that day that want a reinvestigation.
