the mat/floor/stage bounces and absorbs their fall so the wrestlers are not hurt as much but yes i agree METALLICAROX that poo has got to be painful.

wrestlers are terrible actors. That`s why only people from the south believe it`s real

The way things happen is the fake part about it. But you cannot honestly tell me that the landings on the mat/floor/stage aren`t real. That sh*t has got to be painful.

its funny, how so many on here are saying that its fake. well durr, World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT, that right there gives it away, also its sad that so many people think that it is real

I`m pretty sure they already know it isn`t real.

They really don`t try anymore. If you go to a filming of a show, you might see them mess up the timing on a stunt... so they just repeat the same scene. Later edited for your viewing pleasure.

@paddy215

That "pretend" you so speak of is entertainment... Its not different than actors who spend months in other countries filming movies. Are we bitching about Elijah Wood being a "pretend hobbit"? No. Its fiction... And some people like it. Deal with it.

Exactly why professional entertainers * of any sort * have such short marriages..

but it`s all the rage on TMZ and the other celeb gossip on who dates who.

"
"To put it into the words that Triple H told the guys one year in tough enough.

You work 260+ days a year on the road.
You aren`t home for most of it.
If you have a wife, you`re not there.
If you have kids, you`re not there.
You don`t know what they`re doing or who they`re with.
You work everyday in a state of partially beat up. all the time.
You risk your career every night because one wrong move and it could be a severe injury. "

All I got from this is that wrestlers are neglect their wives and children in pursuit of a personal goal of being pretend champion of the world."

I won`t deny that the wrestlers have talent though, everything that they do has to be executed perfectly or someone would actually get really hurt.

The outcomes of matches are pre-planned. The actual feats performed are real. "A total sham" - you`re kidding right? They call it "Sports Entertainment" now, they`re not trying to hide the fact that outcomes are predetermined.

i would tell them it was fake... if it got them to do that to me.

but of course like all generalizations. claims that pro wrestling is a `total sham` or is `completely fake` are a gross oversimplification.
but i wont get into details here
