he looks.... sooo out of place,
everyone else with such serious expressions on their faces, and the drummer with the biggest smile on his face and black T that makes him look ready to rock with a bunch of overaged punks.
love it.

He`s a phenomenal drummer. My favorite thing is that he looks like he`s just having a hell of a good time.

@ Webz. I agree. I listen to both, but like my classical without all the drumming in the background

Awesome, really cool, and he`s obviously a very good drummer, but I feel like the part is overplayed, it`s cool and all, but I don`t know, I feel like it just doesn`t work all that well.

Although I appreciate the talent this guy has, and although I regularly listen to both rock and classical music types, I don`t really think this works.

To each their own I guess.

Man, he is good! And the best part of it is that it totally one hundred percent works! It just goes with the music completely! *sits and waits* Honestly though, I wish he made the stuff he did with nintendo music into a cd that I could buy.

epic epic epic, i wonder if that`s his usual set up, or if he catered it to the task, i`m referring to the higher tom in the middle of the rack, and the ride cymbal on top of the hi-hat, either way, an innovative arrangement, and yes the man has mad skills

He`s great. But, while my first thought was, "this sounds like a good idea and this would end up being epic," I ended up thinking that it isn`t anywhere close to an improvement.

Talented? Yes, absolutely. Making the Barber of Seville sound cheesy? Yes, absolutely.

this made me laugh the whole way through. play it again and watch the trumpet player on the right look so uninterested about the situation.

I kind of agree with trello. Except the women part. Because women base all there information on men and who they sleep with on the first talent they mention.

A tad heavy on the symbols, I reckon.

sounded pretty awesome, and he was undoubtedly good, but he may have been a bit overpowering over the piece...

maybe if Mozart had included drums in his piece it would`ve sounded better

wow... whoever rated this less than a 4 clearly has no appreciation for music... i didn`t catch a single mistake, this guy is fkin talented.

Why so many haters? He`s good, in time and personally although he played over at the beginning he fits in with the rest of it well. It makes it newer, hip even. Youngsters like myself (although I already do) may start listening if it has a good beat behind it. And why would drums make anything tacky? A final rant on not picking up girls...I`d tap that ;)

No. Sorry - Very talented drummer, and the Barber of Seville is a great piece of classical music, but having a drummer, no matter how good, play over a piece of classical music just makes it all sound a bit tacky.
Plus I can`t imagine it`s going to be something that he`s going to pick up chicks with - Imagine the conversation
- Hey babe. I play drums
- Oh wow! Cool. What sort of stuff do you do? Rock? Metal? Indie? Funk?
- Well, I do a mean paradiddle over an Adiago in G-major...
- See ya!

Part of the tech pleasure was that the drumming is done without sheet music, yet he obviously has the full piece in his head.
I agree that the timbre is wrong for this piece (it overpowers) but kudos none-the-less.

A.) That was sick.

B.) What the hell is with the creepy trumpet player to his right that just stares at him the whole time?

I have mixed emotions. I`m all for new variations on classics. This might be a way to bring classical music to the younger generation. On the other hand, it just doesn`t quite fit. A drummer in an orchestra is like a dentist giving a vision test.

haha I love the trumpeter who just stares at him... Like WTF you doing here?

Mad props to whoever figured out the drum music.

Been subscribed to this guy forever. Got the CD for a drummer brother-in-law`s birthday. It`s awesome. I love this guy`s non-classical drumming too.
