This should prove that crime does not pay. This happened during the Great Chicago Snow Storm of 2011...

Should have broken the driver`s side windows and then went to it with the snow blower.

So it took him 32 minutes to cover the car, and it took the lady 20 minutes to clean it off? ahem.... burn?

i would have slashed her goddamn tires

I wish I had cameras when one day my snow shovel was missing and high-heeled shoe prints were left leading to the side of my house..

Wow, just saying that guy does not know how to snow blow. First he makes the lines very crooked and he does understand how to direct the snow so it doesn`t fly everywhere. I am surprised that someone from Chicago doesn`t know something like that.

bumbleBB, I`m thinking she lost or broke it, or threw it away like he said in the video. I highly doubt she`d be using a broom to get her car out if she still had his stolen shovel.

He spent 32 minutes and a tank of gas to cause her 35 minutes of work. I wouldn`t call this revenge. The real winners are the people who live there that don"t have to clear their walk.

So they somehow nicked the snowshovel and lost it within a matter of hours? What a dumbass.

vv I don`t think the shovel was returned, eh? That would also have been on camera too.

After a big storm a guy down the street shoveled ALL the snow from his driveway into the middle of the back lane, completely blocking it. My brother and I spent 40 minutes shoveling it ALL back into his driveway, and some extra snow to go with it. He never did that again, the jerk.

I just want to know if she kept the shovel after she used it, or if she returned it. If she returned it, this guys a dick....

@Volsunga no, the dog goes inn first, and the man tries to get his dog back but the man get a sudden urge for a snow shovel, so he steals it and his dog follows.

Weak. Why go through the effort? Surveilance is there for a reason, turn the little thief in for (a) not having her little ankle biter rat-thing on a leash. (b) Letting the little rat piss in someone elses yard. (c) Stealing

Or meet her in the middle of the night, punch her in her ovaries and then piss in her mouth. I would sleep like a baby.

Did anybody else notice that the guy stole his dog too? After he steals the shovel, the dog runs out of the fenced in area, then we see it walking with him when he comes back to find his car.

They`re both dicks. One of them just has a sense of humor. Still a dick though.

Both guys spent the same amount of time doing their task, and the owner still has a shovel less.

Thief wins.

Well it was pretty original but seemed like a lot of effort. I think I would have let the air out of a tire or two, and maybe peel the rubber off his windshield wipers depending on how attached I was to the snow shovel. Thieves really get under my skin.
