The radiation emitted after 50 minutes on a mobile phone increases activity in brain cells. Uh oh.

lol.
it`s not killing us, alterring our emotions, a.k.a., mind-control.

if you like to know more, do reaserch on Wilhelm Reich or go to educate-yourself.org

"The effects of that brain activity are not known, said the researchers, who called for more study."

There have been studies with microwaves that showed no connection between the levels of radiation they emitted and tumors or cancerous cells.

Virtually everything around us (even our cellphones) is emitting radiation- it`s probably not GOOD for our bodies and we`re unlikely to see any benefits from it, but it`s also foolish to assume that it is directly harmful without direct evidence.

the article says nothing about killing brain cells, only about "increasing activity". sounds like a good thing to me.

Come on @duffytoler. Everybody always knew cigs were bad for your health. Those addicted to them denied the risks but knew not to run a marathon until after they quit! Mobile Phones pose no risk to health other than slightly warming your head.

There was an urban legend that a guy had a tumor the exact shape of a mobile phone years ago when mobiles were new. Remember that bullpoo?

How many years did cigarettes appear to be safe because the tobacco companies kept negative data suppressed? 30? 50?

Nice false title IAB. The article says they don`t know what kind of affect the radiation has on people. So it isn`t official that my phone is killing me.

I saw this last night on a f*cking tv in the back of a cab. THAT sh*t is giving me brain cancer.

Also:

`Repeat after me: Although we are constantly exploring the subject, currently there is no direct evidence that links cell phone usage to brain cancer.`

So the effects aren`t known but you`re saying they are killing us? Well played I-Am-Bored. You could write for a newspaper and sell millions with random scare tactics.

I`m waiting for the "OMG second hand radiation! Go outside to talk on your phone!"

In the 1970`s, if someone suggested you could regularly blast your head with several watts of microwave energy and suffer no long-term ill effects, he would have been considered crazy.

If only there were some way to communicate without cellphones.
The peer-reviewed scientific evidence has overwhelmingly indicated that wireless devices, within the limits established by the FCC, do not pose a public health risk or cause any adverse health effects
OK, so tell me again why you`re writing this bullsh*t article?

So here we have an article, half of which I didn`t read because it was just too stupid. What do I do?

Do I dismiss just the article?

Do I take it a step further and dismiss everything by the author... uh... Danielle Dellorto? ...Whom I`ll forget in 15 minutes.

Or do I take it a step further still and dismiss CNN - which clearly has no standards for what is published...

hmm...

Well, let me just fire up this blunt to counter-act all that brain activity. See? That`s thinkin ahead.

I missed the part where it says my cellphone is "kill" me, not sure what that`s supposed to mean. Maybe you read a different article than or me or your stupid or you intentionally lied, I don`t like any of those things.

"Your Cell phone is killing you."
Cause that`s exactly what the article says....

"no increase in risk was observed with the use of mobile phones.` "

"For now, there are no conclusive answers."

"We don`t know anything for sure,"

It increases brain activity? Oh no!
Yeah I`m pretty sure lots of activities increase brain activity by, you know, using the brain.

I have an idea. Could this increased brain activity be from talking?
I would hope I and the person I`m talking to have slightly over the vegetable state of brain activity from our riveting conversation.

"The radiation emitted after 50 minutes on a mobile phone increases activity in brain cells."

So does reading books, and anything else that requires you to use your brain.

And actually, they never said that the Cell phone will kill you. All it says is it increases the brain activity but they are not sure what this will do:
The effects of that brain activity are not known, said the researchers, who called for more study.
