This is hysterical - my brother and I used to do this when playing GoldenEye for N64 15 years ago...

The guy under the blanket can see through the blanket holes to the top screen, giving him an advantage in the game.
Playing Halo under a blanket, however, gives him a disadvantage at life.

VV Agreed, `cheating` is usually the war-cry of a crap gamer who isn`t smart enought to out-think his opponent.

As far as I`m concerned, when you`re playing a split-screen game, screen-watching brings a new level of tactic, especially in smaller levels. I used to play free-for-all on CoD4 with a couple of friends, and being able to see where they are and where they are looking(as long as they can and do the same thing) made it even more complex. It`s a different style of play, but don`t bitch because you`re too clueless to figure out where they are in relative position to you, or what they might do next.

He`s trying to protect against screen watching. In multiplayer gaming on 1 tv, it can get really bad sometimes. Had that problem on an 8 player LAN of Halo 2 on 2 Xboxes and 2 tv`s.

Ah yes, reminds me of playing Goldeneye multiplayer back in the day. Although we used a complicated rig made from carboard boxes, rather than a sheet.
