What`s the point of this video? Also Henry didn`t invent the assembly line.. Americans didn`t land on the moon (heh) and the Vietnamese war is called the American war... Well in Việt Nam anyway. 50% troll.

@ AfroAussie
Actually, quite a bit has happened in the past 30 years. It`s just not shown here. Short list: John Lennon killed; Arms for hostages fiasco; Space Shuttle Challenger exploded; Waco; Russia loses cold war; Dan Quayle can`t spell potato; Oklahoma city bombing; Clinton gets a BJ; Bosnian war; Louis Freeh decimates the FBI thus allowing 9/11 to occur; Afghanistan war; Iraq war...and this is just what I can recall in the past few minutes.

89 through 01, just speaking from what I`ve read, was mainly the advancement of technologies, desert storm, music change...Nothing truly comparable to events like the world wars or space exploration.

Someone missed the Great Depression, various East European uprisings (1946-68), hippies, the internet, and computers in general.

Grade: B-

Pretty much the essentials. Though there was little technology in it, like the creation of the computer, phone, all that.

"Too american indeed, and its malvinas, not faklands"

Agreed, too American. But pretty sure the islands are still under British rule... so .. Falklands. Thanks, Ciao.

The part of the "terrorists" is very wrong, maybe it`s too soon for that part yet to be transcribed as historic and proven. I just can`t believe it, maybe because I trashed my TELEVISION a long time ago or maybe `cause I`m a conspiracy theorist or, as Bush would say, a terrorist.

Versailles was one of the most important days in Canadian History the fact that Canada signed that treaty as an independent nation, was the first step to us becoming our own sovereign country.

but this is more of a `100 years of American History with a little of the world thrown in`

would like to see this with more world history :)

Ok ok, we get it- there is a lot missing. It is also very concise. Can`t include everything. Nothing on there was not important, save Ford "creating" the assembly line. He didn`t create it- he took it to its full potential.

Well, it was off to a great start. The Falkland war brought a to mind a quote by a Spanish author about said war, saying that it was like two bald men fighting over a comb.

@EntrE: Failed and Not Completed are two different things. I could find nothing about failure, and completion was subject to which definition you went by. If you go by the IHGP definition (after all it is their project) the project is complete.

i thought it was good and interesting up untill the end, i found it offensive and distracting at the end. was this some subliminal message coming at me from the end, it skipped like 8 years inbetween the last one and the 911 one...why the huge gap are they trying to tell me something? yea this poo is messed up.

In 200 years, the only things that will be considered important enough to teach are the moon landing and World War II (which will be lumped in with the first world war as a single event).

"It`s all you really need to know."

Um.

No.

This is just a tiny fraction of what would be construed as "important", and it`s a bit U.S. - centered.

Why was `59 the year they chose for the Vietnam war?
