GOOD one! Maybe the same holds true for an anti-gravity skateboard, or a warp drive to get the %&#@! off this planet.

"GOOD one! Maybe the same holds true for an anti-gravity skateboard, or a warp drive to get the %&#@! off this planet. "

It is inevitable that, if human kind doesnt die out due to whatever cause, we will create all of these things and more that we cannot possibly comprehend at this time.

    Actually.... No.

The oxygen content was MUCH higher in the dinosaur eras. Had to be to support such large animals. A T-Rex could not survive our thin atmosphere.

but it took really good shooling for people to figure that out so STAY IN SCHOOL KIDS!

Yeah Gerry, that`s why we should not only clone dinosaurs, but also give them some sort of artificial breathing device. Riding cyborg T-Rexes is exactly the motivation kids need to learn science.

Woah there cowboy. Oxygen levels were at a high during the Triassic, but they were close to modern-day levels (even lower) when most dinosaurs were around. T-Rex and others were around in the Cretaceous, when oxygen levels were pretty low (side note - the movie "Jurassic Park" should really have been called "Cretaceous Park", since almost all of the dinosaurs featured postdated the Jurassic by tens of millions of years).

Heck, there`s even a scientific school of thought out there that low oxygen levels DRIVES rapid evolution of organisms, by placing their competitive environment under stress.

Yeah yeah, I know, it`s I-A-B. Shutting up now.

    *climbs down from the science-horse*

I will rebuild the t-rex for you. Trust me. I`m an engineer.

This t-rex will be built from used Buicks and be powered by a diesel engine taken from a disused locomotive. It will be armed with soviet tank cannons, cost $80 to build and require maintenance ever 5 minutes. It will be steampunk and use an excessive amount of rivets.

As personal transport a t-rex would have its advantages, you could fill it up with fuel pretty much anywhere... At the stables (now horses are redundant), any field of cattle, political rally, school playground..
