@Animecha, Have to disagree with the Mien Kampf thing, plenty of extreme left wing nut jobs read that sort of bullpoo, and I know, I`m a socialist, I`ve met a few `National Socialists.` and they hate `liberal lefties` just as much as the `moderate right`. But I don`t think that either `side` should be taking all or none of the blame here. Kid was obviously pretty messed up and it seems that pundits from both sides have a lot to answer for.

SHOOTIN` GUNS IS FUNNNNNN!!!!!
WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Really, it is.
Maybe you people should try it some time.
Get rid of all of this pent up rage towards random sh*t and just shoot the f*cking hell out out of something.
It works.

@tridirk Sharron Angle and her "Second Amendment remedies," Rush Limbaugh said that all liberals should be killed except for some to keep at colleges as living fossils, Sarah Palin said "Don`t retreat, reload!" and etc, etc.

... That last comment was truly just a lot of wishful thinking. IMHO and with all due respect to the poster. You can find angry rhetoric being used by hosts on both sides of an issue. It`s one way they come across as committed or tough or care strongly about said issue.

None that I know of call for their opponent to be shot or killed.

@gingerlad - There`s no evidence of political affiliation, the guy just seemed to be a run of the mill psycho. I mean common he had a copy of mein kampf for christ sake, you don`t get much farther away from the left than that.

As to why they`re taking flak, it`s no secret republican pundits use violent imagery and this isn`t the first time someone named by a conservative pundit has been assassinated in recent years(Tiller). While I don`t think there`s a causal link in this case, I do think certain pundits should try to refrain from making their listeners believes certain people need to die for the future of America.

i dont get it. probably because the shooter was a liberal extremist or that the conservatives are taking flak from this event all because the representative was a democrat. the whole outcome has become one large mess

I think it might be the left has so many more voices in front of a camera. If you are a Dem/Lib and want to spout your opinion (especially against the right) there are far more lib networks/reporters ready to put it on the air. Also, since these same outlets agree with the lib agenda they don`t question what you say, why you say it, or if it is true.

turbopuppy, he did shoot a prominent local republican. He was killed by this maniac and his name was John Roll. He came to the event to wish the Democratic politician well. You will notice that he is pushed to the shadows and not overly mentioned.

"That`s part of his whole schtick. It really inflames the libs. That is why he does it."

Fair enough. He is still grinding out the same stuff as all the others. He does it from the hard right and makes millions. Good for him. Wish I could pull it off. But I still dont want to listen to him.

As for the shootings, only a really lost and misguided few could be serious about this. goliegerry has to be putting on a show with all his puff. No way anyone could believe that any US politician or party has their best interest at heart. We all understand the game here right? There is no LEFT or RIGHT other than bread an circus. Its like this thread and others designed to troll visitors into lots of posts. Its about making a few bucks off some dead people and laughing all the way to the bank.

Please tell me you guys see this.

Thanks Jerry... Good Sleep, I too enjoy the conversation. All the best.

Here is something to ponder. You don`t have to answer here. Simply ponder to yourself if you wish.

I am not defending Fox News. I watch them all.

But really? What did we do when they were not here? We got one side of the issues.

So, Fox is oh so terrible to the libs and they are always so afraid of the channel

Here are the major TV news networks in my area:
ABC News
CBS News
CNBC
CNN
MSNBC
NBC News
PBS

Fox News Channel

So how many lean to the left and how many lean to the right? And... if you answer honestly, why are the left so threatened by Fox? Maybe because they haven`t had a dissenting or opposing voice before? No other outlet to say, "Hey wait a minute", what you just reported isn`t the only side to that story.

Good Night

Maybe because almost all of the other sources of News swagger to the left? So that those of us in the middle or to the right might have both sides of the discussion so that we can form our OWN opinions.

Who sounds angry?

Other side. Other side. What other side?

Oh, you mean Democrats? You mean Fox News is anti-Democrat?
I don`t understand how anyone could stand listening to Limbaugh longer than 20 seconds.
Exactly why our government funds Public Radio for people just like yourself. Because obviously the only reason you don`t listen is because you are so consumed by your one sided view of the world and politics that you just don`t want to open your mind to other ways of thinking.

Yet another example of the hypocrisy of the left media. If you actually believe that the left is more virtuous than the right, then have some more Koolaid, lay down and close your eyes. All will be well with them in charge.

Furthermore, this attack had nothing to do with mainstream politics. This guy was a nihilist nutjob. The fact that liberals are using this to their advantage is sickening. Have some intellectual honesty, people. The guy probably never even heard rush or Hannity or even listened to talk radio in his life.

I have tuned into his show a few times. I really did give him a chance. He just isnt interesting. He comes off as an arrogant pumpkin head with a huge ego. He says the same thing everyone else is saying only from a hard right POV.

But is anyone really trying to link some nut-job shooter in AZ to Palin and Rush? Seriously?

I mean get some zingers in if you think its funny to exploit gunshot little girls and such, but really? Is there anyone so brainwashed that they make this sort of connection and think its legitimate?

If you never listened to Rush, stfu. He is nothing like the media portrays him. I think people must be pretending to listen to the guy because I hear him everyday at work and he is a good man. He is not an extremist, that is laughable. GEt your facts right, listen to the man a few times.

Seriously, so much negativity toward Rush, but have you actually listened to him? Not information from some one else, not from the mainstream media, but actually listened to an entire show?

Not that it will make any difference to the lib Koolaid drinkers on this site. They wouldn`t know truth if they tripped over it.

click here for video of interview on Good Morning America with the shooter`s freind about his politics.

I asked for this to be posted here, a day or so ago but I guess I didn`t ask correctly or it was deemed not newsworthy?

But clearly all of this lib=arrogant (we are more caring) crap that has been talked about is of course nothing more than libs taking advantage of a few deaths to promote their politics. But off course for those of you that are blinded by your label. Just go on to the next post.

"Is anyone aware that the shooter was described by his peers as "very liberal.""

Are you one of the idiots who say that as a defense mechanism? Not the first time I`ve seen it.

"Ruben Navarrette Jr.: Liberals are desperate to capitalize on Tucson shooting"
"Rush Limbaugh: Jared Lee Loughner has the "Full Support" of Democrats"
"Tucson Tea Party Founder Blames Giffords For Getting Shot"

I mean, the Tea Party tells the people who come to rallies to bring guns, and they`re the ones who make it seem like we have to "rise against" and "stop the tyranny." Five people who shot by a PERSON and all these people can do is try and label him as a "liberal" or "conservative."

Wow, davymid, that was as original as IAB content. It also constructs a false analogy that an unbiased 7-year old could see through. Can you (or anyone, really) explain how Loughner was an extremist? The fact that so many people mistakenly attribute conservatism to Loughner so readily (by most accounts, he wasn`t really political) really says more about those who make that sort of attribution than it does about conservatives.
