Graffiti usually sucks, but you gotta love this sort of wholesome defacing of public property.

"graffiti doesnt usually suck"
true. the only time it usually does is when it`s that pooty scribbles gangsters and wannabe gangsters throw everywhere to mark their whatever they think they own. I mean, really they dont OWN that electric box outside my grandma`s house.
I wish i lived in a big city where i could see gaffiti all the time. there`s like none here

That either took several people over a few hours or one guy over DAYS... And, oh god, the amount of spray paint... IF I spent that kind of money on spray paint and they got rid of it, I`d be PISSED.

I think it takes quite a bit of dedication to write that whole word.

@beternal

Ok,maybe that`s the accepted spelling these days but I specifically remember having a disney book as a kid that spelled it with an `a` instead of the second i in piala/piali.

Having said that, it`s not really important either way so I`ll back down and be quiet.

Haha nice! An excellent example of how graffiti, when executed well, can really brighten and bring warmth to the often insipid atmosphere you get in a city. Or at least make you laugh =]

Where the wall bends the letters are straight; shopped maybe?

i dunno if that`s the DVP... where on the southbound lanes is there a noise barrier?

Also, there`s no TTC subway train that runs parallel to the DVP (goes down yonge), only a go train does briefly.

The perspective on this is really messing with me.
Is that written on a wall, or some kind of path or road?

Maybe the `artist` and his/her friend wanted to see who could spray the longest word without getting caught. Along a riverbed soon nearby, it will say "Anti disestablishmentarianism" (it doesn`t normally have a space, but i-a-b won`t allow long words any more o_0).

Although I have no doubt that this could actually happen, this looks shopped because some of the letters overlap the tall grass right in front of them. sorry I had to be "that guy".

It wasn`t Mary Poppins, the kids made it so Mary could see it in case she was flying by

I love graffiti that isn`t just gang propoganda or crude line drawings. Most of it is much better than just a bare slab of brick or concrete.
