Starbucks Is Going Bigger For Size Queens [Pic]

Submitted by: Kim... 6 years ago

It used to be that the Venti was Starbucks" biggest cup. Now, comes the Trenta. No word on how much it"ll cost though.

@robotobunneh and they solved that problem by selling ICED DRINKS and caused a new problem by the time you`re halfway through, it`s warm...

okay, the thing about Starbucks is they put more ice in the drink than anything. So the actual fluid you`ll be drinking won`t actually be 916 ml :x

The problem with anything bigger than a Tall is that by the time you`re halfway through, it`s cold.

What`s wrong with nipple rings, bongsmoka420?

there`s a market for nipple rings, for poop fetishes, for chocolate covered roaches, for bags that cost more than your life.

but there is no market for the truth...

Reply
Male 4,014
So what? If there is a market, why not sell it?

It`s only ice coffee. The ice takes up a ton of volume, so unless you let it melt and drink the water you`re not really getting 30 ounces.

@JoeYC admit it, you`re wrong here. btw, the American (or North American, if you prefer) style of writing states that ["] should be outside the [.]. So Rick S is correct on that too.

At last, MauserTM is not `totally` incorrect, 4Kg can be 4L, if we are talking about water.

So, take it easy, and watch your own bellybutton before act like a Jerk.

Maybe the S was confusing you. It`s still technically America.

Also that was just my lazyness not to spell it correctly, thinking 4KG = 4000ml is just a dumb american mistake. (ameria doesn`t even deserve to have a capital `A`.)

Rick, if you wanted to go that low..

" by saying "your" instead of "you`re.""

The full stop should go outside of the ".

Ok. No. People, don`t hate. Anyone who`s had a Starbucks` Passion Tea Lemonade knows that there is too much ice and not enough tea.

I am all for this trenta thing because when I`m thirsty, I`m THIRSTY.

it`s only for iced teas and iced coffees.
and just that, no iced lattes or frappuccinos.

To be noted: It says it is for iced drinks which contain, you guessed it, ice, so the whole 916ml isn`t necessarily all sugary deliciousness.

OH THE IRONY! Insulting someone who doesn`t use the metric system for not understanding it, and making a really bad grammatical error by saying "your" instead of "you`re."

"I didnt know i could eat up to 4kg of food"

A milliliter is NOT a gram (unless you`re talking about water). Milliliter is a measure of VOLUME, while a gram is a measure of MASS.

o.O and the iced drink cups are smaller.

Either that or they just seem smaller because the ice takes up so much room.

They did this in response to ->McDonalds<-
McDonalds! 1/3rd of your daily calories in one drink! Both companies must base their marketing on the fact that people don`t let any two neurons communicate with each other. I think they watched Idiocracy as a "how to" video.

You can skip the iced crap and just ask to have anything else filled in the Trenta.
0

Male 2,868
There`s usually a TON of ice in their iced drinks- There`s probably only about 450ml of actual coffee drink in the Trenta. Don`t get me wrong- that`s still a lot. Not that it matters to me. I pretty much only drink black drip coffee.

I like how they display the information on the average size of the stomach yet do NOT put the information on how much fluid the stomach moves over a given period of time. One sided bias advertisment at its best...

I like how all the sizes except tall are Italian. (Grande = big, Venti = 20 (for 20 ounces) and Trenta = 30 for 30 ounces).

It makes me feel like the years I took Italian came to some use.

Too bad being able to translate the cup sizes at Starbucks is the closest I`ll ever get to utilizing my Italian knowledge.

it`s not like the liquid stays in your stomach. Unless you drink it all at once (which will make you throw it back up), most of it will be sent into the intestines over the course of the drink.
