Global warming means the world is warming up and last time I checked America is just part of the world and not all of it!

It may be snowy somewhere in California, but that somewhere isn`t anywhere near here. Probably over in the mountains.

"and then there`s California.."
Big Bear, 10 minutes east of LA, has ski resort.

Another place you can ski and minutes later, be surfing in Hunting Beach.

@all those I-A-Ber`s who asked the question: "it snows in Hawaii?" The answer is yes and some days you can ski Mauna Kea in the morning and 2 hours later be surfing.

All those birds and fish dropping dead were a pretty fun sign of the apocalypse, but you`ve gone too far with this weather, Satan! Ease up a bit, will you?

global climate is going to change, whether we are here or not.... look at the earth`s history, we are slowly moving into an ice age again..

Throw out your theories? Utter ignorance. The reason there is snow, is because the oceans are warmer than they should be, thus disrupting weather patterns and causing MORE EXTREME weather in places it doesn`t normally happen. This snow, and the floods in Australia and elsewhere, do more to prove global warming than anything. Read up a bit on it Fancy.

Idiots like Fancylad are the reason they had to change the name to Climate Change, because you can`t comprehend that global warming DOES mean more snow, in the same way it also means more hurricanes, more floods, and ocean levels rising.

I don`t get the description. Doesn`t this reinforce the idea that something is up with the climate.

Oh for drat`s sake. Global warming is not about everywhere getting warming all the time it is about the WORLD AVERAGE temperature going up, adding more energy into the weather systems and making more extreme fluctuations occur. Snow in places it shouldn`t be is a part of it not proof its wrong.

Also, while I understand that blind acceptance of statements is a bad idea, I am fairly certain most everyone saying global warming (more accurately called climate change) is a fraud has never bothered to actually research the data and where it comes from themselves. You want me to believe climate change isn`t real? Go out and prove it. Don`t just scream conspiracy and then hide in your basement.

Isn`t that how climate change works? The fluctuations mean that it doesn`t just heat up so we have hot summers, but we also have colder winters. Or summat like that :P

I live in Connecticut, and we get a lot of snow every year....it`s kinda funny to go on facebook and see my friends from down south like alabama and georiga and stuff complaining about how they have no idea what to do with all the snow and they`ve never really seen it. I was kinda dissapointed though because they were talking about a huge storm. This wasn`t a tiny lil storm but it wasn`t nearly as big as I was hoping :( we got like between 19-20 inches but it`s like already cleared from the roads and everything, I wanted like a shut the state down storm like the blizard of 89` :( oh well.

Global warming is a fraud.

However, these "scientists" are going to stick together to keep the gravy train rolling.

Um, no thanks. I`ll stick with the 97% of scientists who think that anthropogenic climate change is real.

I love it when in the winter people look outside and they think "hmm, it`s awfully cold outside, global warming is a myth", and when it`s summer, they think "oh crap, it`s so hot out there, the global warming is real!"
