Congrats to a young man for a true selfless act. I applaud him for what he did.

My son who spent some time in Afghanistan told me of his first experience with a rocket attack on his base that he was shocked at how people reacted to someone being injured. Some ran to help the injured. Some ran and hid for safety. Some ran and grabbed their cameras.

Good job. It`s about time people thanked the people rather than God.

Wait, why was this brave? He applied pressure to the wound, its not like he fought off the shooter. He did a good thing, but brave...

He`s 20? He looks a lot older. Pretty well spoken, but I hope this is the same thing anyone else would do.

Not to diminish this guy`s act, but does anyone else find it disappointing that there are so few people with the training to save a life that when one happens to be in the right place at the right time, he is instantly a hero?
