Submitted by: fancylad 6 years ago in Tech

If you think you have no will power over a regular old tasty cereal box, what chance do you have over a lighted box?

If this is real they are going to charge like $2 bucks more for an already $8 box.

@Vossero
the first dialogue on the video is the guy apologizing cause the second role of cheerios wouldnt light. that also means that is the shelf that makes it light

Honestly i feel like its fake, i mean, just look at it! And then at the begining of the video when you can see the cheerios on the left side of the screen, theyre not flashing, they only flash once the camera looks at them, but if it WERE real....shouldnt they be flashing with the trix too? lol

`cause it`s so difficult for a parent to actually make oatmeal or something... Blame the cereal companies?... You bought it, blame yourself.

Not only seven dollars for cereal but they`ve shrunk so much you get maybe 2 bowls out of it

I think I`ll still stick with the bargain brand, thanks.

And in 15 years when I have a kid and they`re begging me to get the cereal with the holographic box... I`ll still get them the bargain brand, just like my parents did to me, heheh.

Nice how they make something simple and make it unaffordable. They already charge ridiculous prices for that garbage.

Kind of cool, but I can`t imagine they could do this AND maintain the same price as a regular cardboard box.

Wait ten years. Food packages on grocery store shelves will have CGI characters that call you by name and urge you to buy them.

Advertising is actually a psychological barrage on the mind. Keywords, colors, phrases, angles, all of it is designed to flick switches in your subconscious in order to attract you.

Kids are highly susceptible, hence why Christmas is such a nightmare.

Stores will need that special shelving unit to make them work. The guy was about to say something important but we got cut off.
