@Quackor
Try it; it works. The trick is in the stirring. It`s the same reason why ice cream melts much faster if you put it in front of a fan blowing 65 degree (F) air than if you just set it in a 100 degree (F) room.

The potato thing is called blanching. It also works well with tomatoes.

"Hold firm banana with both hands. Snap in half. Squeeze out each end."

That and the music, if I weren`t watching I`d swear the worst porn ever was on screen.

You mean I can save a week of my life by learning to handbrake-turn park!?

The only thing I hate about the t-shirt thing is that one sleeve ends up on the inside, but the other is on the outside (of the finished fold)! I prefer them both on the inside.

I highly doubt the soda in the inside would be "ice cold". I keep my freezer at -18 c, putting room temperature soda for 2 minutes inside doesnt cool it down enough. Using salted water only increases surface contact, it doesnt magically transform water into liquid nitrogen

tokiokoos, i didnt get the lace one at first, but remember to pull though the loose ends, not the loops, put each end though the other loop, it works. but takes a few trys getting used to it.

t-shirt one is good.

The iPod earphones thing I find very very useful. I tried the shoe lace thing but I didn`t manage that. And I`m definitely trying the egg thing next time I have a boiled egg!

I doubt that these will in the long run save you as much time as they say.

Who has trouble peeling a banana?
But the egg thing was cool.

Tried the shirt and the egg. The egg kind of worked, but I wouldn`t bother with the shirt. I wear more fitted clothes unlike that scrawny guy.

The shirt folding and the egg thing are probably the only ones I would use.

And I don`t think the move to take off a shirt really saves anytime, just a good way to stretch them out.

The shirt folding really does work. I learned of it many years ago from a viral video and used it for long while until I got a girlfriend that does all my ironing and folding. She doesn`t like the technique though herself and just prefers the old-fashioned method. LOL

I must try that shirt folding trick! I have what my husband tries to call OCD and one of my "ticks" is that I have to have my laundry folded perfectly and that folded shirt was just beautiful.

i always take my shirts off like that!!

also, the "sorbet" will take about 10-15 min to get to that consistency. i make it with my year 9 students (although we make ice cream... much tastier). you will spend roughly 15 minutes afterwards cleaning up all the water that drips everywhere too :D
