They`re falling from the sky in Louisiana too. Nothing to worry about they probably just got done feasting on the poisoned fish up stream is all.

I wouldn`t have chosen Arkansas as the birthplace of the apocalypse personally...but if it means that 3000 of those aggressively territorial birds are now dead there`s no cause for complaint.

And, apparently, the head of chemical and biological weapons research was found dead same day. Birds and fish all died New Years Eve.

    and they told us,
    what they wanted,
was a sound that could kill someone,
    from a distance,
    so we go ahead,
and the meters are over in the red,
its a mistake in the making.

Hm - I`m surprised you sciencey types on here haven`t begun debating the cause of this. That makes me even more uneasy.

Duuh, what`s to debate? Its obvious to ANYONE that its just a localized secondary altothermal supercell with antecedant psionic oscillations forming specific altitudinal displacements of normally subatmospheric fauna! It hardly needs explaining, let alone debating.

Ir was reported that the birds died form blood clotting to the brain. The fact so many at one time is not indication of virus. Poisoning is unlikely either though possible. There must be another cause. More research will be conducted by the CDC and EPA. Blood results take several days.
IMHO It`s more than likely at the same time the fish washed up dead also. Contaminants in the water might be a one in possibility to look into.
