@Gerry

Everyone knows that the stupidest people are drawn to the warmest places.

NOTE: Florida, Arizona, Texas, Deep South, and SoCal

Snow, one of the the few joys for those of us who don`t have to drive.

weight of car compacted the snow under to be more like ice.
either Someone hosed away the non compact snow or it might have rained ? it`s even plausible that it stood there for so long all other snow melted by its own.

example: If you walk up and down a snowy path to and from your car for instance, you notice the walked on snow melts a lot slower and is harder.

Update: 74 degress when I left for work this morning at 9 a.m. ... but you guys enjoy that snow, but be carefull. I heard prolonged shrinkage can become permanent.

You can still be courteous whilst being vulgar. It could be like, "Dude, you drated his mum!!" implying a certain level of respect.

And with the vous/douchebag thing, I was trying to say being a grammar nazi is a dickhead thing to do, especially when it`s such a small thing. In other words, I was taking the piss out of myself.

Now that`s a true off-road enthusiast.

Trp: Very, very technically? Not quite, `cause vous is a form of courtesy. Considering the message of the sentence, you`d speak of vulgarity. And if the correct form, as you`re implying, would be to use vous and thus render one a douchebag, why would you correct the sentence using vous?

Now I`m the one coming off as a douchebag. I apologize. Don`t type anything back unless it is to insult me. No discussions, please.

Well Owanie, one could get really technical and say you should say vous because she`s speaking to a stranger, but that could make one look like a douche.

Also, Pierre, I said le because I was saying his wife was an it. :P

I reckon it`s on bricks, and the snow is covering the bricks.

it is just an illusion.

when they were cleaning they left some snow behind, but actually that snow is not under the wheels.

The wheels are in the ground and the snow is about some inches behind, and from the angle of the picture it seems the car is above it.

Very good though!

Simple. Lots of compacted snow was about, a plough cleared most of it from the road, and people thought "well, we should really clear the snow under that car too. Plus we get a car on snowstilts!"

i think the snow was hella high aaaaand the car parked on top of the really high snow. then the snow fairy came and blew all the snow away and the car now is like this.

That`s just weird. It drove on top of the snow to get there, and they cleared out the snow from under it? OR are there cinder blocks under the tires hidden by the snow... :-P

correcting the corrector:
vous aimez la baiser.
how on earth did it go from "I like this picture" to "I like to hump her" her being Davymid`s wife?

Tu aimes baiser sa mère is correct too, dude. And don`t forget the accent grave in mère. Just don`t use T`aime, as it`s more accurately used to point at a person; such as in je t`aime.

If you`re gonna be a nazi about something which is obviously a joke, at least have the courtesy to get it right.

It should be *vous aimez baiser sa mere. Or in the case of Davy`s wife: Vous aimez le baiser.

This is real. I live in Montreal, you can do this if you have the time... Fresh snow is the snow they show in movies and TV, where the snow is all soft and fluffy. This is obviously not fresh snow. This snow has been there for a few days a least, being packed down by people and other cars. The temperature must have risen to allow the snow to compact even more. If you have the time, you can dig out underneath the car to make it like in this picture, but judging by the depth of the snow, it would take a little while. Also, you have to make sure that you leave enough snow under the tires so that it doesn`t crumble under the weight of the car.

In short, it`s possible. Snow is a lot stronger than what most people, who never see it, think it is.

Is the snow just so compacted that it bacame ice blocks under the tires? I don`t ever deal with snow so I`m not sure.

LazyMe484, i don`t think it`s real either, but perhaps it IS possible for the snow to hold a lot of weight.
at work, a lot of times when the back room is filled with empty cardboard boxes you can just walk right on top of them without crushing them if your careful

I don`t think so.... snow can`t handle that kind of compression. It`s probably resting on some blocks and those are just covered in snow.

I wanted to do something like this to a roommate I hated. Unfortunately, we were in the middle of a severe cold snap and there was little snow. But a bucket full of water poured slowly over each tire also works well.

wow! fun pics like this make me ALMOST wish I lived in one of those places instead of here in San Diego.... 79 was the high and all the hot guys were in tank tops and shorts shopping the boulevard where I work at. Man-Candy galore! All those tanned, stud-muffins... wait, what was it I started to say?..... never mind. I like it here.

I`ve done this to someone before. Of course, they were a bit upset because it was a new viper and the snow was a few inches deeper than this.
