SvampeBob: I would say so they dont have to pick a side. It comes with Xbox or Playstation attachment. I dare say most people that would lash out on this, would already have some thing of gaming console to use.

So it looks like it can run on batteries, but no idea how long that would last. Not as cool when you have to have him plugged into an outlet at all times. Still pretty cool though.
