I hate how he raises his voice at the end of each sentence as if lecturing a gradeschool class.

what if it spins so fast that it leaves it`s ozone ehind like in the looney toons or what if god is hovering by on his space bike and it accidently knocks his elbow causing him to swerve and burn his beard on the sun. these are the things that scare me

this is my beef on global warming, the earth doesnt spin in a complete circle, however can you really say that pumping co2 on an exponential level level is not bad for the enviorment

This individual does NOT have a future in voice acting.

His inflection is all over the place - every statement sounds like a confused exclamatory question.

@psychosax

I believe the orbit in that graphic was exaggerated to easier explain an elliptical path to the alarming large amount of people who believe that the earth orbits in a perfect circle.

A perfectly scaled representation of our orbit would be more likely to confuse people, which is counter to the point of this entire thing.

Of course, if you want to be a nitpicky bish about it, then go ahead. I just hope to god you never have to teach anyone anything.

I do physics at uni, but still if anyone asked me "Is that sidereal, tropical or anomalous years?" I would punch them in the face.

Also, annoying voice is annoying.

So there are five? six? (I lost count!) cycles affecting the Earth`s orbit? COOL!!!

How can anyone think this is dull?? It is completely amazing how complex and yet simple the universe is!

This video is really interesting, but they do get one thing wrong. At the beginning we see a path of the earth`s elliptical orbit. This is GREATLY exaggerated. In reality, the eccentricity of the earth`s orbit (how ovular it is) is SO small that when you look at an accurate depiction of the earth`s orbit, it is indistinguishable from a perfect circle to the human eye.
On a similar note, the difference of distances between the earth and the sun at the perihelion and aphelion is very small, and this difference contributes VERY MINOR temperature variations if any at all.

Ohh yeah and I found the post to be freaking kick ass. Largely because I have an attention span greater than a lightning bolt.

I suppose we could extrapolate this data a bit more and, well whaddya know, we`re in the middle of a global warming phase owing to the Earth`s location in it`s orbit.

IAB mods must all be potheads with no attention span at all, because this is a REPOST! AGAIN! BORING.

I remember this here last year. And I`ll make the same comment: I can`t stand his drating patronising voice!

@Volsunga:
You’ve got to be kidding me. I’ve been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It’s just common sense.
