Just a thought... but what if mother nature suddenly decides to drop 300 inches of snow on us in less time than that?

I come home for the holidays all the way from Buffalo and now I`m trapped by the snow on Long Island.

Good thing I love the snow.

I agree with big fat dynamo. We honestly do get that every other week in western ny. Being right next to lake effect on eastern winds really puts us in the craziest spot for this kinda thing. But at least everyone here knows how to drive in it cuz we`re so used to it :D

Hmm, it`s a good thing we decided not to go home for Christmas. Don`t get me wrong, I love my family, but being snowed in drives me crazy.

@ Ari--
that only happens in Europe. When it comes to dealing with snow us europeans are the biggest wimps on the planet. the US and Canada are able to deal with it, we should be too, but for whatever reason there has to be only one inch of snow on the street so that every idiot thinks they can`t go any faster than 30 km/h. I love snow, but I hate to see everyone crying about it and it makes me sick

yeah, you wish you were there until you have to wait 4 hours in the middle of the city for a taxi because there are no buses/trains/planes. and then another 4 hours because the taxi gets stuck on the road because the citys have run out of salt for the streets. i hate snow. i hate snow. i hate snow.

Gee, I only got 24 inches. I`m so jealous.
Actually this has been great for me because I`m the only person who works close to my store so they called me in and I`m getting extra money on a day I normally wouldn`t have worked.
