Well, this makes me completely second-guess my intravenous heroin habit.

"See how the last picture is magnified 50 time more than the third. Total shenanigans is total"

It may be more magnified, but tbh, I wouldnt want the one thats been used twice pericing my arm, so even the effects after 6 times are the same as 2, the point still stands, the needles fraked.

D`:

I hate needles and now I can`t stop imagining the last one ripping my veins apart.

Looks like you need a hammer to get the needle in after six times.

And, yes, the magnification is larger on the last picture, but the damage to the needle is real. The needle shows similar damage after two times. No shenanigans here, folks.

no problem, ill just get a rock from the sidewalk and sharpen it back up.

I believe this, fully. People calling shenanigans think about it, the "used once" looks "realistic" right? Well not there isn`t a sharp point, it is slightly bending down. So now you use it again and it pulls it down more, and is slightly (but maybe not noticeably) harder to push in.

The lesson learned here today is that it`s better to ingest or smoke your drugs.

Say "NO" to needles!

The last one is zoomed in a whole bunch....not arguing their point, but it does cheat a little.

So kids, remember to always use fresh needles when injecting your drugs.

Hmm this is interesting as I often contemplate the sharpness of the objects I impale my patients with. Sure I only stick it through skin once, but in many cases I have previously forced it through the plastic top of a vial prior to injecting someone.... The worst feeling is one patient who for some reason always feels like I`m tearing her skin as I inject her....EVERY DAMN DAY.

Yeah a tattoo needle is more like a nail than a syringe.

Well, not really an issue for me since the only needles that I get poked with are the ones that at the doctor`s, who only use each needle just the once.

soo... when you get a tatoo and that needle goes in and out of your skin a billion times what does it look like after?

@s0rd3dvis1on

Think about the fact that this is hugely magnified, metal is very pliable, and a strand of hair has more tension strength then a same sized strand of metal

NitroJunkie, insulin pills are only for type 2 diabetics. I run out of money, I wind up using `number six` needles. Fun stuff.

That`s why they have insulin pills now- if you catch the sugar early and manage it properly, you shouldn`t need intravenous insulin.

Needles scare the poo out of me. If I had diabetes I would either be dead or I would have to be held down on a nightly basis and have someone else inject me.

That`s why you should just smoke crack.

It`s not that it`s a "Crappy Product", IV Needles are not built to be used more than once, because of how finely crafted and sharp they are, and the fact that multiple uses is dangerously unsanitary.

I SO didn`t know this! I am very glad I am not having to use any kind of needles. And if I ever do, medically, I pray I never have to use one more than once. :-( That`s awful!

I have a friend who is a diabetic. He says that he`s had to use his needle twice before (because it was too late to get out to buy new ones) and it was terribly painful. The new needles are definitely "One Time Use".

"that cant be real metal harder than skin why does it degrade?"

that is mostly bending, and the bending causes the rest of the metal to warp.

we never say "paperclips are harder than skin, why do they bend? do we?

the rest of it though just looks icky tho :(
