I think the one that disgusts me most is that Nina lady. She`s gaining a profit off people in mourning and it`s sick. If she actually has the gift, that`s awesome, but do it for free and help these people.

    ...freak...

I got one to add- My gf`s sister, upon hearing that the cat that had been their family`s pet since they were kids was going to be put to sleep, decided she wanted the skull. So, my gf (then just a friend) called me up and told me this, and said that she`d like to help her sister out but didn`t think she could do it herself, having known the kitteh for most of her life. Not having ever met the cat, I (reluctantly) agreed. I mean, it`s not like I hunt or grew up on a farm- I`m not exactly accustomed to defiling the bodies of dead animals- but I went through with it and the skull came out in tact. And that`s how I won my girl`s heart.

Nice, that`s a hell of a story, sbeelz.

I agree with Gerry1of1, burying dead stuff is a waste of perfectly good protein.

sbeelz - you won your gf`s heart by fulfilling her request to decapitate a cat and present her with the skull ?

Dude, I hate to question your taste in women but there`s a sign in there somewhere to RUN LIKE HELL!!!!

most of these were pretty creepy, but I actually like the idea of turning the ashes into diamonds....I would probably never do it for a pet, but it would be a cool option for a human.

Making them into fake diamonds is actually very cool, however it will now make you think twice buying 2nd hand jewellery!

Fatninja01: They aren`t actually `Fake` diamonds. They are real diamonds. The diamonds are synthetically made from the carbon in the ashes.

Lifegem is great for both Pets and Humans... even better, you don`t have to be cremated; they can produce the gem from some locks of hair if the deceased is to be buried.

Be warned though... they aren`t cheap - I am on a prepaid plan with them, and I just hope I have it paid off before I kick the bucket.
