    I watched it till it went dirt brown, at like 0245. I was sooo tired, so I went to bed. Glad to see I only missed the same thing in reverse. LOL.

    It was pretty cool. When it was at full eclipse the moon was smack in the middle of Orion, Tarus, Auriga, and Gemini. And a shooting star went right across it. Froze my nips off though.

    and once again the deep ones rised out of my sea monkey`s aquarium and offered me gold for my virgins then when I denied they retreated back into their underwater castle. It was soooo cute :3

    Not only was it hazy here after all the snow, I couldn`t find a single working live-feed on the interwebz :(
    I got to see the moon partly covered by shadow, through the clouds, no colours.

    I couldn`t see the moon at all because of the clouds...until shortly after it was over. I was pissed.

    Snoozing in bed before getting up, mum came in and mentioned it, raised my head a foot, poked one eye through the curtains, saw half the moon, and went back to snoozing. Eclipse.

    Yes but doesn`t some light shine through our atmosphere giving the moon a red color? I`d just like to see it from that perspective.

    My first time seeing a lunar eclipse last night. It was pretty cool seeing a red moon and the moon was bright as hell.

    i also watched it with the nurses at work on the late shift last night. first time seeing a lunar eclipse for most of us. cloudless sky too, it was very nice.

    Yeah I missed it due to clouds here also but I would rather just wait until the next day and catch a quick video than stay up and lose sleep these days.

    Dude, this video has to have been sped up...
    lol.

    I went outside last night to watch it, mostly cloudless sky, brought a blanket and a pillow out, i just layed there for atleast 2 hours watching it

    The last recorded lunar eclipse on a northern winter solstice (according to NASA) was on Dec, 21st 1638 and the next one wont be until 2094.....I will be 105 years old....pooty, and pissed I missed it.

    lisalezah the refraction of sunlight around earth`s atmosphere gives the moon that reddish appearance, it doesn`t get cast on the moon until it`s about halfway in earth`s shadow.

    I saw it at around 12:41 mountain time and it looked like it does at 00:46. When it looked like it did at about 01:30 a big cloud swept over and I could barely see it.

    I wonder what a lunar Eclipse looks like from the moon.
    You would see the earth surrounded by a red fringe, like a 360 deg. sunset. The atmosphere causes the light to refract around the curve of the earth, and the dust in the atmosphere blocks the short (blue) wavelengths of light.

    During the partial phase, the shaded area is red, but you don`t notice it because the sunlit half is too bright.

    All I got to see was a reddish tinged sky, because the entire sky was cloudy. Stupid weather >.< I stayed up late hoping the clouds would pass by but nope.

    I saw it right up until it was almost the full eclipse and then of course, before that A MASSIVE CLOUD THE SHAPE OF ANTARCTICA covered it. This made me so upset. T_T

    I just love looking at this and trying to wrap my head around the fact that it is the SHADOW of the freaking EARTH!
