The holiday season doesn"t officially begin until someone spots the mystical "Uni-Santa-Piper." Wait for it...

The Unicycle Piper guy is actually pretty famous in Portland. I`ve seen him almost every time I`ve gone downtown. Must admit though, totally not the weirdest guy I`ve seen. Silver Elvis Robot dude takes the cake.

My friend was in Portland and found a bunch of posters scattered around PSU that read "FREE GRAVY" and had a drawing of a man staring at the reader. Damn hipsters.

@Ogen
absolutely. I think the oddest thing I`ve seen so far is a man walking downtown wearing red pumps, a blonde wig- and a dress made entirely out of Chinese food takeout containers.

Living in Portland, I got to say that this isn`t as odd as you might think. You can`t live downtown without something like this happening at least once a day, if you open your eyes and look around.

Organ? I really hope that is an intentional misspelling of Oregon.

@Calithlin- On the plane to Portland now. No idea where I`m going to stay but I`m hoping a random guy runs up to me and offers me a free house if I wrestle a clown on live TV or something.

Now that`s awesome.
One time last year, I`m pretty sure on Christmas at around midnight my partner and I were walking home and Santa rode by on a very tall bicycle, waved, and quietly continued on his way.

Awesome! Haha the other day I was waiting for a bus and a guy dressed in a Santa outfit in the passenger side of a white pedo van yelled Ho ho ho out the window to the people at the stop. Wish I saw the uni-santa-piper instead.

Hah, you guys are so last Tuesday. Our town got rid of our UniPiper years ago. Now we have bearded, Siamese-twin chick(s) who walk around in a fitted grass skirt and Santa hats. One plays the Ukulele and the other has a kazoo.

Does this kind of thing happen often in Portland? If so then I`m catching the first plane there.
