(SPOILER for those who haven"t seen it). This video mashes the dream time scales played out simultaneously.

the time scale in this movie is all wrong anyway. 5 minutes in real time equals an hour in sleep. So 30 to the power of four equals
1 minute in life to 248,832 minutes in limbo. They filmed roughly 20 minutes of limbo. The actors should have bloody aged in their sleep.

@ShakeNBake - I got it, but the first half hour was so boring I ended up turning it off. I guess i have to be in the right mood to watch it.

That was one of the greatest movies I`ve ever seen.
If you don`t like the movie, you probably don`t get it.
If you don`t get it, you probably aren`t out of middle school yet.
And you shouldn`t be on the internet.

this video is wrong if you watch the van, before it even jumps off the bridge you can see everyone discussing on a new plan because they missed the first kick which was the van jumping off the bridge, so its not actually lined up into real time.. fail

Primer is the best hard science fiction movie I`ve ever seen.

Can`t wait for Carruth`s next one:

I found it contrived and boring, it was a 3 page short story stretched to movie length but there wasn`t enough plot to make it.

For complex interwoven storylines, you can`t beat `Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels`.

"smartest film ever."

A stronger contender would be Primer.
I didn`t find inception all that complex, or smart. The initial concept is awesome, and I loved the movie. Smart? A little. One cool concept.

Complex? The dream levels are linear. It goes in one direction. In that sense it`s no more "complex" than eat/pray/love.

"First she`s in America right... then WHEM.. Italy, then India, THEN Indonesia, THEN back home! BLEW. MY.MIND."

Replace those locations with Reality. Dream 1. Dream 2. Dream 3. Dream 4. Then home.

If you can already imagine the concept (we can go to dreams), following the concept is as simple as any other (we can go to countries).

I guess that was useful for the people who couldn`t follow the movie, but I found it quite easy to understand the timing when I was watching it.

i-am-goatse, watching different scenes and timing them, then speeding them up to match perfectly is putting to much time into it. not to mention it wasnt just 2 scenes timed and put together, but 4.

Way too much time? Like it takes a lot to sync up video. The paradox scene was very cool, DamienLike.

somebody cares too much, and has way to much time on their hands.

Maybe I`m missing something here but surely if the guy who did this had to keep changing the speed the videos were playing at to keep them in sync it can be real time?

For it to be in real time the first videos should constantly run at (assuming if I remember correctly each dream level was slowed down by ^5:real time) 1:1, 5:1, and 25:1 respectively?
