They`re a real choir, hired to generate some publicity. It certainly worked. For their part, they got an interesting challenge (singing without an orchestra or conductor while scattered around a food court is quite different to formal choral singing) and a chance to show classical singing in an informal way, less seperated from the audience.

True, but not a counter to my statement.

Is it a bad sign when I always expect the lyrics for "Oh Cthulhu" instead of the actual lyrics whenever I hear that?

I`m not having any buffer issues on this site. more than likely it`s your connection to the youtube servers as that`s where this video links.

I think some of those people just jumped in `just because` not because they were ment to.

I think it should be illegal to use the word "Flash" on a video over 2 minutes. When I got to the end and and still no nudity, well I was quite let down. I mean celebrating a self purported mass murderer I can deal with. Whatever, fine... but to advertise flashing and not deliver?

I wouldn`t be, for one reason - they can actually sing. It`s a hard piece to sing and they sung it scattered around a place that probably had poor acoustics. I was hovering over the stop button in case they weren`t up to the job, but they were.

How dare they try and force their religion down my throat! That`s where my fast food goes! Now I`ve done lost my appetite! Don`t they know about separation of church and, uh, food court. LOL (note the sarcasm).

Pretty freakin awesome if you ask me! Talented singers and pretty cool set up!

stuff like that would really p*ss me off if i was eating with a friend, though from the looks of things it doesn`t exactly look like that sort of place i would casually go to eat...

not cause i don`t eat cheap food, just cause i don`t eat junk food in malls...

I`m curious as to how many people were the actual singers and how many decided to just stand and join in. That was nice though.

My choir broke out into the Hallelujah chorus the other night. We were all waiting around before a performance and someone on the piano started playing the accompaniment. Pretty soon there were over 100 people singing the Hallelujah chorus, and it wasn`t even a song we had practiced.

It`s not that you are a grinch. Life is too short and too full of the same old routine to not enjoy little things like this. I genuinely pity you if you would react how you described.

It was cute to begin with, but a flash mob that involves people just standing and singing for 5 minutes gets boring.

Happy Festivus, all and to all an aluminum pole.
